Property code: OC-DY040

Make memories to last a lifetime in this unique apartment, overlooking the water in Aberdovey. Stroll down to the woof-welcoming Aberdyfi beach, where you’ll be greeted by 4 miles of golden sand. Heading inland, discover the mountainous terrain of Snowdonia National Park, with its plethora of dog-walking trails. The property sleeps six guests and one canine chum, making it perfect for a large family or group of friends. Its open-plan layout lends itself to entertaining, and the spilt-level garden is the perfect place for celebrating special occasions in summer.

A flight of external stairs, or an inclined slope, leads to this stylish apartment. Once inside, a further two flights of stairs take you to the spectacular, open-plan living space. The impressive lounge/kitchen/diner is full of character, with elegant, arched windows framing the magnificent sea views; it’s the perfect place to sit back and relax after a long walk with Rover, watching the boats bobbing along the water. In the kitchen area, gather around the breakfast bar to plan your day over a cup of coffee, or gather at the dining table for evening meals. The property has three bedrooms: one double, a twin, and a bunk bedroom. The beautiful garden is a sun trap, with an elevated terrace for dining and a lawn where the hounds can play (just be aware that the garden isn’t fully dog secure).

Snowdonia National Park is a real doggy haven. If your furry friend has a head for heights, journey to Cadair Idris (16.5 miles). The highest mountain in southern Snowdonia is guaranteed to get ears flapping and tails wagging, and provides magnificent views across Cregennan Lakes. Alternatively, enjoy a day trip to Dolgoch Falls (10 miles), where you can walk through caves and tunnels and share a picnic next to the waterfall.

Our 3rd visit to this apartment. Its a home from home. Always clean, plenty of hot water, powerful shower, comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Its also in a great location. You are provided with a car park pass but we have always managed to park on the road opposite the entrance

What a view! We loved the apartment. It was clean, had everything we need and was very comfortable. Books and games were available which is always a bonus. We got lucky with the weather and were able to explore Aberdovey and the surrounding area without raincoats all week. It really is a lovely part of the world.

Absolutely beautiful apartment, really clean, exceptional views and lovely outside area. The beautiful Aberdovey beach was only a short walk away. Stayed as a family of 4 and a dog, plenty of space. Would definitely recommend.

Our second visit and that view still has the WOW factor. Very spacious comfortable clean apartment. I could easily live there. In walking distance for everything and plenty of walks from the door step. Id highly recommend the red lion Machynlleth harbour kitchen and sea breeze aberdovey for an evening meal. Already booked for next year

An excellent location and very well maintained.Fully equipped throughout. The only drawback is the stairs, it would not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Parking is a frustration even with a parking pass included. We have stayed three times now and the frustrations are worth it for the benefits. We love the location.

Wonderful apartment with incredible views across the estuary. Everything you need in the apartment which is very roomy. Only issue is there are quite a few large steps and staircases to climb up to the apartment if you're not the fittest.

The location and facilities within the property were excellent. Close to Local shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. The property is not suitable if you have mobility issues. The views of the river and the estuary are excellent. There are plenty of local walks and good access to the train to explore the coast.
