This rural retreat situated on the edge of the picturesque Hope Valley is brimming with walks and caves to explore with your four-legged friend. This charming cottage sleeps two people and one dog, perfect for a romantic getaway with the pup along for the ride, or some R&R for just you and your furry companion. After a day of making the most of the countryside on your doorstep, sit back and relax with a glass of wine (or a bowl of water) in the suntrap overlooking the stables at the rear of the property.

This beautiful stone-built cottage is found amidst the owner’s grounds creating a private, safe haven. On one level, this delightful homestead provides a cosy and calming space to relax and for dogs to curl up and dream about tomorrow’s walks. A tastefully decorated double bedroom with an en-suite shower room beckons tired legs at the end of the day. Enjoy a home-cooked meal around the table in the kitchen/diner and unwind with a DVD or a book in the lounge. On warmer evenings, enjoy a BBQ or a spot of al fresco dining at the outdoor seating area and say hi to the ‘neigh’-bours at the working stables.

Take an exhilarating walk and climb to the elevated position of Bamford Edge (3.5 miles) in the Peak District. Enjoy the breathtaking views and discover the interesting rock formations of the area. Ladybower Reservoir is just 4 miles away and is perfect for woodland trails along the water, or for lazier days with perhaps a spot of fishing giving Fido a chance to rest at the water’s edge. For a more adventurous day out, visit one of the three dog-friendly caverns 5 miles from the cottage.

Eden Tree cottage is very comfortable and well equipped : ideal for a base for exploring the Peak Districts many beautiful spots. The friendly horses added a little something extra, too. Bradwell village facilities are convenient and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Response from HolidayCottages.co.uk: Thank you for your feedback. After highlighting with the owner, they have advised whilst the heating is on timed, you can manually turn it back on. This is detailed in the welcome book. The owners are always on site to advise if any issues, which they would of been able to help with if contacted. Small detached Read morecottage (converted outhouse) situated in a courtyard opposite horse stables, suitable for two people and one dog. Adequate kitchen facilities in open plan living area. The only bathroom is the en-suite which has a loose sliding shower door and is in need of updating. There is a small bathroom cabinet which is located too high for a person of average height. The cottage was clean throughout. Heating system inadequate for a winter stay. Hide
