Rustle up your tasty treats and then descend steps into the dining room where you can serve up and raise a glass to time with loved ones. We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. We had a family funeral in Newcastle during the week so it was lovely to come back to the comfy and cosy cottage to relax. It was very well equipped and appointed and had everything we needed. Any queries were responded to quickly by the property manager. We would definitely stay again!

The cottage was very clean and in good working order, if you wanted to cook all necessary equipment / utensils were available. It is remote and a few miles from nearest restaurant (quite expensive) / pub that does grub, so it may be worth thinking about eating in a couple of days for ease. Plenty of bathroom facilities if needed! Directions were clRead moreear, there are a couple of gates to navigate, all straightforward and parking for 2cars. All in all a good place to stay for family / friends, just need a designated driver to get to some of the nearby attractions. Hide

Amazing cottage, really well equipped throughout. Spotless in every room and linen and towels fresh and clean. Lovely location, really spacious! We plan to return, and as a family of two adults and four children we found it ideal!

Animal hair in the carpets/ rugs, cobwebs in the corners. The downstairs shower was cold. Nice cottage, well stocked and good location for us.

Returned here for a second year for an annual event. Cottage and location are great, but will not be returning again. The stay was soured by the caretaker, who was incredidly condesending and rude. One additional car was parked in the yard for a period of around 10 hours, but instead of engaging like an adult, the conversation was opened with "So wRead moreho can't count then?", followed by threats of having to rent a second cottage to allow the parking. We had asked about other parking before arrival! Hide

Lovely cottage with all the equipment you could possibly need for including a washing machine. Beds were comfortable, living room had ample seating, kitchen well equipped, large dining room, really can not fault the cottage at all! Stayed here with a group of friends for a week. Lovely surroundings. The location was rural without being inconvenient. The house itself functions well. A few things could use updating such as the old electric hob and the bathrooms, however this doesnt take anything away from the five star review - everything functions as needed and it has everythiRead moreng you need. We all enjoyed the stay here. I thought it was excellent value for money. I would recommend and intend to return :) Hide

We had rather a wet time of it in our two week stay but were cosy and warm in the property. The cottage is well equipped and plenty of room for 6 adults to dine and sit in comfort. There are are plenty of local walks and lots of interesting places to visit in the area.
