Stable Cottage is a great place to stay for a holiday in the Yorkshire Dales. After a week's stay, we didn't want to leave! The cottage is very comfortable and spacious with a well equipped kitchen, 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - both with showers and plenty of hot water. The living area is a room with a magnificent view! Malham Cove can be seeRead moren amongst beautiful rolling hills and is less than a 15-minute car journey away. Janet Foss waterfall and natural pool close-by is definitely worth a visit. Walled garden with seating patio and grassed area for a well behaved collie. The cottage is next to the award-winning Town End farm shop and cafe. Located in Airton, there's lots of walking routes including the Pennine Way. Airton is a very friendly and welcoming village and fellow dog walkers sign-posted great countryside walks. Closest pub is a few miles away in Kirkby Malham. Market town Settle with its independent shops is worth a visit at only 6 miles away. So too is Grassington just over an hour away for an 'All Creatures Great and Small' experience. Highly recommended. Hide

This is a beautiful home from home. The cottage was clean tidy and well equipped with everything we needed as a family for lovely meals in the kitchen and family time in the living room with the most stunning views. If you have a smaller dog, may need to watch them initiRead moreally in the back garden as they can slip through the gate. Also if walking into Malham bring good waterproof walking gear. A beautiful barn conversion with stunning views of Malham Cove. A bonus of the farm shop & cafe next door. Perfect fully enclosed garden for the dog, but maybe not for a tiny dog due to the side gate. Overall a relaxing pleasant stay in a central location for the Yorkshire Dales.

Oh my goodness, those views!!! The cottage itself was very comfortable and spacious but as soon as we stepped in it was the view from the large windows in the living room that took the crown. Location wise it was perfect for what we intended to do: a mixture of walks and sightseeing / village hopping. And the farm shop next door ensured we had greaRead moret provisions and goodies. Hide

We had a fantastic stay at Stable Cottage. It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for 6 adults and 2 dogs. The views from the lounge and garden were stunning. Despite the weather, we really enjoyed our stay here. There are plenty of walks around - directly from the door step, or a short drive away if you're less seasoned (like us!). The place had everything we needed for self catering, including a TV and hairdryer, which are missing on the advert :-).
