Experience the delights of this former farm building that has been beautifully renovated to sleep up to six people and their four-legged friend. The property is situated in the village of Warenton which provides stunning views down to Bamburgh Castle and out towards Holy Island. The living room has been cleverly placed on the first floor of this property to offer those fantastic views from the comfort of your sofa. The enclosed garden also has outdoor seating to enjoy that same view, and a summer house complete with basic cooking facilities for dining alfresco.

This property has plenty of natural light thanks to the well-placed skylight windows on the first floor and the large windows and patio doors on the ground floor. Preparing a home-cooked meal in the open-plan kitchen/diner area couldn’t be easier as there’s plenty of space for many helping hands. Whether you choose to eat inside at the dining room table or outside on the patio area, you won’t lose sight of that amazing view. Decorated to a high standard with a mix of wooden and stone flooring and oak beams, this property has everything you’d want from a conversion to ensure its original style remains alongside contemporary designs.

Just 4 miles away is the village of Belford, offering ales and ample space for your pooch to join. There are also some great rock-climbing opportunities for adrenalin-seekers. Head to the coastal village of Seahouses (10 miles) where harbourside fish and chips are a must, and coastal dog walks towards neighbouring Bamburgh (3.5 miles) and Beadnell Bay (3 miles) can be enjoyed by all. With boat trips out to the Farne Islands departing from its harbour, there is more than enough to keep everyone entertained here.

We had a fantastic week at Hill House. The cottage was an absolute pleasure to stay in. The owners have thought of everything, I could easily have stayed longer. We enjoyed the wood burning stove and sitting around the kitchen table playing cards with our friends. Would definitely recommend and return.
