Dig holes, fetch sticks, eat ice cream and dip toes and paws in the salty waters at Beadnell Bay (1 mile). Head to Seahouses (2.5 miles) and walk along the beautiful dune-backed sandy beach or catch a boat from the harbour there for a wildlife-watching cruise around the Farne Islands in the hope of seeing puffins and grey seals. Boat trips warmly welcome salty seadogs too!
