Experience life on a working farm here in North Yorkshire, where this well-appointed three-bedroom property offers the ideal spot for a family getaway. This property comfortably sleeps six guests (and a seventh at an additional cost) and also welcomes two canine companions along for the ride. Your pups will be in good company throughout your stay, with resident farm dogs happily roaming the estate. Kids will adore a tour of the farm and meeting the animals, whilst man’s best friend can look forward to endless walks in the Yorkshire Dales.

This spacious stone cottage has been decorated with a homely atmosphere in mind, creating an instantly welcoming space for you to call home. Unwind in the open-plan living area, where lounge, kitchen and dining room are combined to create one sociable space. Your dogs will adore having their entire pack together, and will no doubt claim prized spots in front of the electric flame-effect fire. French doors in the lounge lead out onto a private patio and vast lawn, perfect for letting children and pets play whilst you enjoy an evening drink. Be sure to pack cosy dog beds and blankets, so your pups can snooze as you retire to bed.

Wander 1.5 miles into the village of Weeton, a pretty Yorkshire village. Walk the dogs in the evening, picking up fresh fish and chips and a sausage for Fido and Rover. The local spa town of Harrogate is accessible via a 15-minute train journey from Weeton or a 7-mile trip in the car. Here you’ll find a vast 200-acre park and plenty of pretty streets to peruse. Find yourself on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales just 4 miles away, carrying on to Fewston Reservoir (9.5 miles) for a relaxing 4-mile walk. Alternatively, embark on a section of the 53-mile Nidderdale Way route, beginning 18 miles away in Pateley Bridge.
