Lovely accommodation but do take the advice about the external metal stairs if youre not steady on your feet as could be too much. I was extremely careful on wet days. There is some noise from the wine bar underneath, mainly the music but didnt bother us and stops when the bar shuts. Location is great, the high street has everything you could need Read moreif you dont want to drive. Train station is about a 10 minute stroll and the forest is a few minutes walk. Would definitely like to return! Hide

We had good weather and the outside stairs were no problem, although quite steep. Its a good base for exploring the area and there are loads of local pubs to eat in. There are also a number of food shops in the same street. The visitors parking permit is a great bonus and the coast is only half an hour drive away. We visited the Isle of Wight, BuckRead morelers Hard Maritime Museum and Beaulieu Motor Museum and Palace House Hide

This is a perfect apartment, spotlessly clean - central location - easy walk to restaurants & station etc. The staff in the bar below are really friendly and made us very welcome. Their food is good too - especially liked the breakfast. It's our 3rd stay here - and couldn't imagine anywhere better for a weekend - thanks to all the staff

We loved it there and will definitely be back. Friendly staff, with a big bonus of a parking card belonging to the appartment for use in many New Forest car parks.

Larger than it appears in the photographs. Well furnished and kitted out, central location in the village. Situated obove a bar but music finished early enough and wasn't really intrusive. Steep stairs for access, something to be aware of. We would happily stay again.

Loved the apartment and great facilities to make you feel at home. Right in the village and for the four days we were there we never needed to use the car as the grocery shops, restaurants and station was in easy walking distance. Couple of things to bear in mind when booking, is access to the apartments are via outside stairs and from the bedroomsRead more the noise from the streets could be little disturbing overnight. Hide

Received a warm welcome on arrival, the apartment was spotless and very comfortable. Bedroom layout meant both rooms were spacious. Parking was easy and the parking clock worked well, we used it in other car parks as well. The location is brilliant. Next to and opposite two small but well stocked supermarkets, plus traditional butchers (also sell fRead moreish), amazing bakers and grocers. Quick to get to the places we wanted. Some noise very early in the morning, maybe from building work opposite. Hide
