This characterful station cottage, in the pretty village of Wilsden, is ideal for families and groups of friends with up to four faithful hounds in tow. A highlight of this location is the historic Hewenden Viaduct (1 mile), which provides a beautiful backdrop for leisurely and scenic walks. Let your pups lead the way along the famous Great Northern Railway Trail that starts less than 200 metres from your doorstep, before returning to cook up a family feast in the delightful kitchen/diner that awaits.

Step through the entrance of this charming and historic property into an inviting lounge, welcoming you with comfortable seating and a Smart TV, perfect for relaxing with your canine companions after a busy day. Continuing through, and you will find the stylish kitchen/diner, with all the appliances needed to create a hearty meal to enjoy at the nearby table dining. Completing the ground floor is a convenient family bathroom. Upstairs are the three inviting and light bedrooms, all boasting Smart TVs, these include a double room, and two cosy singles that benefit from an airy shower room. Outside, to the front, is a small, landscaped garden, and at the rear awaits a charming courtyard and garden area equipped with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. The garden provides plenty of room for dogs and little ones to play safely while adults enjoy evening tipples in the courtyard.

Hebden Bridge (11 miles) is known for its arts scene, but also boasts some fine eateries and plenty of walks for you and your four-legged friends to enjoy. Alternatively, Bronte Waterfall (6.5 miles) and Hardcastle Crags (11 miles) offer a real sense of adventure and picture-perfect views. The historic Harewood House (20.5 miles) is well worth a visit and has over 100 acres of land for your pups to sniff out adventure.

The house is lovely, location wonderful. Good for walking especially the spectacular viaduct. A good variety of places to visit within 10miles. A good welcome pack and the owner was very helpful on arrival. Highly recommended.

The house was immaculate and Jane provided us with a lovely welcome and a few immediate necessities such as milk and bread. The location is stunning and minutes walk from the viaduct and stunning scenery. We enjoyed the walk to Cullingworth (20 mins along the viaduct trail) many times and the newly refurbished George Pub was lovely, as well as the Read morelocal butchers for the local produce. A great base to explore the locality. Couldnt recommend it more. Hide

The cottage is luxurious and has a well stocked modern kitchen. Its very clean and dog friendly. The beds are comfortable and theres a TV in every room. Its quiet day and night. Its situated close to an old railway line with two viaducts close by. The views are good including Ilkley moor. Wilsden has a small Coop supermarket and other shops. My dogRead more met the local farm cows and was fascinated needing to see them every time we went out. Theres loads of places to go nearby. Hide

Would whole-heartedly recommend this cottage. It is only 50 yards from the viaduct along the Great Northern Trail - excellent for walking our large dog. Jane could not have been more helpful, proving a welcome hamper with with tea/coffee/bread/butter etc. plus treats for the dog!! The whole house was beautifully appointed with great attention to deRead moretail. Jane obviously excels at interior design! The cottage and location couldnt have been more perfect, thanks to Jane the (owner). I would definitely stay at the cottage again. Even my dog was made welcome with a welcome treat box. How good is that .Thanks Jane .

Lovely location, super welcome from the owner and great communication too. Felt very welcome and at home and was a great base to explore West Yorkshire and East Lancashire as we planned. Our dog settled there brilliantly and loved it too.

Comfortable cottage, very friendly & helpful owner next-door. Welcome pack was lovely thanks. Peaceful and quiet rural location close to the viaduct. 30 minute walk to Wilsden & Cullingworth villages for pubs and shops. Great location if you have dogs. Really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect homely location next to Hewenden Viaduct - easy to travel to Hebden Bridge, Skipton, Settle, Saltaire (great coffee and pastries at Giddy Arts) and Lister Park. Very helpful owner next door with a lovely welcome pack for us and the dogs. Well-equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom downstairs. Would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Station Cottage, Wilsden. This is a perfect cottage for those holiday makers with dogs - completely secure back garden, wonderful walks on your doorstep and Jane provided the dogs with various toys and games to use during their stay as well as a some delicious dog treats - thank you! Well looked after house. Great size of rooms, great facilities, well equipped. Comfy beds and sofas. Great parking outside the property. Internet reception is poor - it is provided but coverage is weak. 1 minute walk to the viaduct which is beautiful We would return again
