A comfortable cottage for 2 people , with or without a child. Very nice shower. Kitchen a bit lacking in cooking equipment and crockery. Good parking space outside. Local pub few minutes walk, but it was expensive to eat there. Short drive to other places on the coast, lovely scenery, good walking area including part of the SWCP.

What a great cottage everything you could wish for. We only had a short stay but on the occasions we saw Helen she always checked we had everything we needed. Definitely somewhere we would recommend and return to. The pub nearby The Pig on the Hill was an added bonus lovely staff and great food.

Pusehill cottage has everything we needed for a great break away from it all. Close enough to the town but out in the country. Will go again

The cottage is really cosy and a very short walk away from The Pig on The Hill, which is not open all year round but welcomes children and dogs, and does an amazing Sunday lunch. The owners are welcoming, as is the peahen who will probably visit the yard. It is a lovely place to escape to and a good base to explore the local beach and countrysidRead moree. Hide

Big shout out to owners Helen and her partner who are wonderful hosts. Minor issue during our stay was resolved very quickly with a follow up text to check all was ok. Cottage very well equipped and the scones and cream a very welcome find on our arrival. Just be aware that cottage is ideal for a family of three but bigger families would struggle. Read more Location 10 mins from sea by car but you will need to drive almost everywhere. Only minor gripe is doggy smell downstairs that although clean does linger. Otherwise we had a lovely stay. Located in a very peaceful part of Devon, the cottage is perfect for a real get away from it all break. Nicely presented, good facilities and welcoming hosts, you could not ask for more. Nearby pub is excellent, Sunday dinner was fantastic but book VERY early, it is closed on Monday and Tuesday though. There are no shops within easy walk but major Read moresupermarkets will deliver. If you have limited mobility the road to and from the cottage is very narrow and the hill is steep. Traffic is light though. Overall, if you want a well equiped, comfortable, peaceful retreat in a beautifal part of North Devon you could do a lot worse that the cottage at Pusehill Hide
