A very comfy and well equipped cottage. We saw deer and newly born calves with their mums in the field next to us. We slept very well in the superking bed with good quality bed linen, enjoyed sitting outside by the stream and cooking in the well equipped kitchen, watched telly with the lovely gas fire on later on in the evening. A lovely cottage with a completely enclosed garden ideal for dog owners. Our dog loved the stream that ran through the garden. There were rather a lot of potholes that needed to be negotiated in the steep lane when approaching to the cottage. Close by was the Bancroft Mill Museum which was definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed long walks along the cRead moreanal which was only a short drive away. Location ideal for fit people who like walking and exploring. Hide
