Relax inside or sit under dappled sunshine in the garden as your dog goofs around with a toy. A generously-sized family cottage sleeping four humans and one dog, your whole pack can make the most of holiday bliss. When you are feeling up for a little adventure, the beautiful seaside town of Filey is home to lots of attractions and a 5-mile long beach, perfect for games in the sand.

Stepping inside this attractive home, you are immediately struck by the sense of space and light. Using soft, neutral tones to create restful living spaces, each room very much has its own appeal. To start your day, the large kitchen has nice views of the garden through big picture windows. Delve into the cupboards and familiarise yourself – there are loads of handy appliances and utensils provided so you will have everything you need. Sit around the breakfast island with a hot coffee and mountain of toast and slip the dog a biscuit or two. For meals later on, there is a dining table and chairs for a touch of ceremony. Also on the ground floor, find a bathroom with shower over bath and the lounge. Another light-filled room, the lounge boasts comfortable seating, a coal-effect fire and a Smart TV and DVD for movie nights at home. Venturing upstairs, you will find the master bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower room. There is also a twin bedroom with a zip-and-link bed that can be made into a king upon request. When the sun is shining, the enclosed garden is a great space for children and the dog to let off steam while you light up the BBQ.

Just 2 miles away from Filey Country Park and less than 0.5 miles from the beach, adventure is but a stone’s throw away.

This is our third visit to this lovely house and we cant praise it enough. Its always clean, cosy and comfortable and the location is perfect. Its opposite Glen Park with its great cafe, just a minutes walk from the seafront and less than a 10 minute walk into the town. We really feel at home there.

Lovely spacious cottage for four people and two dogs. Lovely ensuite shower room to front bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped and when we arrived there was a lovely welcome pack, and fresh flowers on the table. Parking was a bonus in a busy place like Filey. This house is lovely, whole house was very clean and smelt amazing, great location, parking a bonus, secure garden was great for the dog and a well equipped kitchen. We couldnt have asked for more and we had an absolutely fabulous holiday.

Super holiday house for families. Well equipped, spotlessly clean and near to sea, town and parks. Would definitely recommend. We hired it with the house next door so that the whole family could holiday together and we had a great time.

A nice house in a great location. Very well equipped and comfortable. Allocated parking at the rear of the property was a god send, as it can get busy at the front. The only complaints we had, were that the TV in the living room was small and the garden furniture needs a major upgrade. The bench seat was broken and the table and chairs were poor. IRead moret gets the sun most of the day and It would be a good investment in my opinion. Especially in the summer months when you are able to sit outside. Hide

I would recommend this property to anyone, nice size house in perfect position. But I would recommend the owners renew the TV situation and check the heating time etc. Easy parking and everything in walking distance. Dog friendly

Great location, well appointed accommodation. Easy walk into town for coffee shops, restaurants, takeaways, cute gifty type shops. V close to Glen garden which was great for our dog. Steep steps or roads down to the beach. Garden was secure for the dog. Small lobby by the back door was great for storing dog leads, bags, boots etc. Was able to park Read moreeasily at the front of property every day. Hide

Filey is always as a central location travelling up to Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby The house good for glen gardens there is some buildings work going on across road but dont think it will be therefore much longer

Property was decorated and equipped very well, and looked to be well cleaned for our arrival. However we had an issue with dog smell from previous occupants. It took the whole of the first day for the smell to dissipate. It made us feel uncomfortable. Cleaners and owner did their best to help.

This is the third time that we have stayed at the property in the the last 4 years. The house is in a superb location, step out of the front door and you are in Glen gardens (the local park) with childrens play area, mini golf, kids rides and pedalos, Another few minutes walk leads to steps which take you down to the beach. My only disappointment iRead moren our visit this time is that some of the decoration and furniture is beginning to look tired, something I have not noticed in previous years. Hide

The house is in a great location, easy walking distance to the beach and town. It is well equipped. The bathroom downstairs had mould on the shower which could easily be cleaned off so the cleaners need to be told about this. Not the owners fault but there was building work going on opposite the house starting by 8 am everyday and continued all dayRead more long. A comfortable cottage, well equipped and in a superb location to explore Filey. 2 minutes away from the lovely Glen Gardens & 5 minutes away from the Beach. Lovely welcome pack left for us by the owners. Dogs loved the back garden. Private parking was handy on back for times when the street was busy.

This is the fourth time that we have stayed here. It is a very comfortable and well-equipped house in a really convenient location. As we have a dog the proximity to Glen Gardens park and the amazing beach is a real plus factor and it's a five minute walk into the centre of Filey for fish and chips from the Brown Room and a pint at the Cobblers ArmRead mores. It's only ten minutes on foot to the large supermarket and railway station for days out further afield. Hide
