We really loved our stay, the house is very well equipped and comfortable. The view over the lake is wonderful. The location is very well placed for the water park and other Cotswolds points of interest. We will definitely return.

Very attractive house. Great views of the lake from the windows & patio doors. Balcony/decking good size & probably great for a summer holiday. We went in February.Good size rooms and lovely layout. Warmed up super quick when heating put on. Sofas, clean & comfortable. Beds & bedding good quality. We found the kitchen needed more of a thorough cleaRead moren & surfaces were sticky. Crockery needed re washing. Some small areas of the house were a little tired. Location great, lots of good food pubs local. Hide

Fabulous lodge with a beautiful view of the lake, great open plan living area, very well equipped kitchen. I would say the double beds are not suitable for sharing for 2 adult people as one person would have to climb over the over and they are raised up high so a bit odd to climb over onto a bit of a drop. If only little people / kids sharing then Read moreabsolutely no problem - just not two adults / bit small for men. The rest of it really was wonderful - it exceeded our expectations Hide

We stayed here for a week in October. The place is quiet, with a beautiful lake view every morning. The house is exactly as shown in the photo's comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. The hosts were kind and provided a blender on request. The kids loved their rooms, and the outdoor area must be lovely in spring and summer.

The house really needs money spending on, the decking is rotten and dangerous and the doors going outside was awful to open and close no outside lights out the back over looking the lake, most of the taps were lose. But on a good point the property was clean and beds and sofas were comfortable.

Had a lovely few days break, it has everything you need, brilliant setting over the lake, parking with a short stroll to the local bar and restaurant which served very good food.

We had a wonderful two week break in The Lake House. When we arrived, the house was beautifully clean and there was a clean (plus fresh linen/towels) after a week. Ness was so considerate, and even offered to pick up several items that had run out. She dropped them in to us the following day- what a star! The house was very well-equipped, with everRead moreything we could possibly need. We had Sunday lunch at the Lakeside and highly recommend it. Residents were very quiet and it felt very peaceful. Lovely location, calming and peaceful with plenty of places to visit . Only issue we had were the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms mattresses a little uncomfortable and if your tall a little tight with leg room due to the end being against the wall, apart from this we had a lovely time.

Thoughtful touches eg dishwasher tablets provided and coffee machine with coffee capsules.. well located for eateries and good dog walks. The location is great, with a lovely sunny balcony complete with BBQ. I would have given a higher score but the house is tired in places. As we were a group of 4 the 4ft wide double beds were not an issue for us.

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Lake House with our grown up children plus Labrador. Location is great and brasserie and nearby boathouse great for food and dog friendly (with prior notice). We enjoyed watching all the watersports on the lake. The cottage is extremely well equipped with very comfortable master bed and sofas. The other bedrooRead morems are rather tiny so not particularly suited to two adults but perfect for one! My 6ft 4 son in law was a bit squished! Hide
