Property code: OC-86877

For a seaside break filled with long dog walks on the beach and dramatic seascapes to admire with man’s best friend at your side, look no further than this charming two-bed bungalow. Less than 1 mile from the pup-friendly shores of Beadnell Bay and with the stunning Northumberland Coast AONB all around you, this location couldn’t be more ideal for a small family and their canine companion hoping to explore the very best of the North-East coastline. Let Rover go wild as you spot puffins and seals on your travels, always ensuring you keep dog treats and tennis balls in tow for unforgettable daily outings.

Lovingly decorated with you in mind, this charming bungalow features fresh and clean décor with homely accents. Muddy paws won't pose too much of an issue in the laminated open-plan living space, although we do recommend stocking up on dog towels to brush off that sandy fur before letting your pups curl up and snooze away. Sit down to meals prepared in the well-appointed kitchen, making full use of the dining space or enclosed patio garden with furniture. Retire to one of two cosy bedrooms right here on the ground floor after an evening of binge-watching on the Smart TV, happily leaving your furry friend gently dozing away in their bed.

Whether you spend a day on the beach or pack walking boots for long walks along the coast, the Northumberland Coast AONB always offers a warm welcome to both man and dog alike. Head to the Beadnell Bay Sand Dunes (1.5 miles) and take a walk along to Long Nanny Bridge (2 miles), exploring the surrounding bird sanctuary and spotting fantastic wildlife along the way. Follow the coastal path up to Seahouses (2.5 miles) or Bamburgh (5 miles), admiring the Farne Islands in the distance as Fido leaves no stick unfetched along the way.

  • 1 double bedroom and 1 bunk room (suitable for adults and children)
  • 1 bathroom with shower over the bath and WC
  • Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher
  • Smart TV in lounge
  • Highchair and travel cot available
  • Perfect for small families, couples or those travelling on their own and their dog

Beautiful setting for the cottage in a quiet location very close to the beach. Tastefully decorated with a seaside cottage theme throughout. Modern decor. Exceptionally clean. Thoughtful touches make you feel so welcome such as WiFi, milk in the fridge, biscuits, teabags and even extra pet bowls and games for wet weather. Cosy cottage.

We had a fantastic stay - the accommodation was perfect - clean, tidy and cosy. We were in very close proximity to the beach, coffee shops, pubs, local shop and a beautiful new playground. What more could we ask for?

We very much enjoyed our stay. This cottage is in a great location it is short walk to the beach. I would recommend this cottage to all my family and friends. These are only comments not criticism. The shower was hot but lacked pressure, we are used to a power shower. Denise my wife found the mattress uncomfortable. The check out time of 10.00am, wRead moree thought was to early, with new guests arriving at 16.00. We have cleaners at home it doesn't take 6hrs to clean. Hide

Cottage was clean and comfortable which lots of home comforts which we appreciated. Great position in a quiet village with two beaches walkable. Owners were really attentive offering advice and quick answers we had prior to arriving. Our first visit to Northumberland and I would definitely stay at Serenity Cottage again.

Clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Ideally situated, short walk to the beach, a pub, cafe and a shop. Great base to explore the wider area with visits to Seahouses, Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Alnwick, Alnmouth and a boat trip over to the Farne Islands. Really enjoyed our week and would definitely return.

A lovely cottage in a quiet area not far from the beaches and eateries. Great for shorter breaks and well fitted out bar a washing machine. The fridge has a decent size ice compartment. Very comfortable but may be a bit of a squeeze for more than a couple. Benefits from an allocated parking space in the adjacent car park. Spotless on arrival too.
