Delightful cottage to stay at, and to explore the local area, taking in local pubs and eateries. Friendly owners, a pleasure to stay here with friends and family.

Property was lovely and is in a great location to explore (you do need a car though). Lots of dog walks straight from the barn. Well equipped kitchen; and property in general.

Really - REALLY - nice place to stay, well equipped, very comfortable, and an excellent position on the edge of a quiet village, backing onto open fields. Lots of good dog walks on the doorstep.

We stayed here as a party of 6 (2 lots of parents with a toddler each) and absolutely loved it. The rural setting is stunning and we found the location ideal for visiting all the best family sites in the area (Cheddar Gorge, central Bristol, Puxton Park, Brean splash park etc). The closest pub (Plume of Feathers) was easily walkable and very cosy. Read moreAll round super stay. Hide

Quite simply a superb cottage (Oak Barn) in a delightful village. Coming away to somewhere where its dark at night not polluted by street lights. Where there is countryside. Where the owners are on hand and super friendly. Its great. Close enough to Churchill village which has Toutts supermarket and a petrol station. Close to Cheddar Gorge and GlasRead moretonbury. Highly recommend. Hide

Lovely place in a great location and nice and warm out of season. The place would benefit from a professional clean between guests as there were areas of concern. We had problems with the oven but it wasnt an issue as we dined out most nights. It was my fault for not checking before we booked but no dishwasher!
