The harbour town of Padstow is one of the most popular spots in Cornwall, with a wide range of independent shops, restaurants, and pubs. It is set along the Camel Estuary and close to several beaches, most of which are dog-friendly including the secluded spots of Hawker’s Cove and Harbour Cove (3 miles). If you are a group that loves getting active, try out water sports on the river such as sailing or stand-up paddleboarding. Alternatively, sniff out adventures on the South West Coast Path which passes through the town, or head off on a bike and paw along the long-distance Camel Trail.
