Fabulous family-friendly property located in the heart of Freshwater Bay. Sleeping seven humans and two precious pooches, this is the perfect holiday home to explore the island’s inviting attractions at a pace of your choice.

Set in a peaceful seaside village, step into the bungalow, where you’ll find the colourful tones of the sea are carried throughout the property. Inside the cheerful lounge sits a comfy sofa, armchair and Smart TV, ready for you to catch up on your favourite shows. Throw open the patio doors and watch as Rover and Rufus find their spots on the sunny decking. The kitchen is a well-equipped, stylish space, with everything needed to prepare memorable meals for the whole party. Along the hall, three pretty bedrooms are dressed in calming tones, while down the hall a family bathroom offers a soak in the tub after a long day on your feet. Upstairs in the attic conversion, a spacious king-size room with plenty of storage, en-suite with a free-standing bath present an ideal space for those wanting a little more privacy. In the morning, sit out with your coffee and a book, or sizzle up some sausages on the BBQ for a hearty breakfast.

With direct access to many coastal and countryside routes, your pups will soon sniff out the walk to Freshwater Bay (0.5 miles). One of the most picturesque beaches in West Wight, Freshwater Bay is known for the unique sound made when the grey flint and chalk pebbles rub shoulders on the shore – listen for it while here. This particular bay is also popular with surfers and water sports enthusiasts. Alternatively, see more of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty by following the trails of Tennyson Down to the Needles or towards Blackgang Chine and St Catherine’s Lighthouse on the island’s southern tip. Well worth taking your camera for.

Enjoyed our holiday to IOW, first time. Nice house but needs some care and attention. No curtains in lounge, bit chilly when dark, no outside light so bit dangerous. Sofa not very comfortable, could do with some cushions also bit grubby. Pillows and duvets could also do with replacing...all a bit flat and thin..not a comfortable sleep. No oven glovRead morees...few repairs required in en suite ( which is beautiful) lights flicking on/off, toilet seat loose. Toilet cleaner would be good too! Otherwise ok Hide

Very comfortable house, had everything you need. Tesco around the corner was very helpful. Our party was all adults, but they had some nice touches for young children. The only problem we had was the noise of the rain on the velux windows in the upstairs bedroom which was deafening. Overall very good and IOW is great for a holiday.

We enjoyed our stay at Meadow Glade. Nice quiet location. Garden not child friendly because of bramble & nettles. Rooms spacious especially the upstairs bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Would have liked a lock on bathroom door. Local shops within walking distance.

Modern spacious house and garden which worked well for our two generation family. Recommend Red Lion pub and the Piano Cafe. The Rock at the Albion restaurant is an expensive treat but food is excellent.

Light, airy clean holiday home. Loved the large windows all round and sliding patio doors on the lounge. Surprised there was no ironing board to go with the iron or a hair dryer Ideal location for us as the house is set back behind trees from the road and very quiet plus nowhere is far by car on the Isle of Wight also bus stops outside the house. It is clearly "pet friendly" but if you don't have pets the smell of pets is definitely there. As a result it didn't feel fully clean to a non-pet family.

Nice cottage, whilst well equipped you can tell its a holiday let, made up of odd & sods rather complete sets, plus lack of lock on upstairs bathroom. Upstairs whilst very nice does have low ceilings, so left with a couple bumps on the head...

Location was good, close to shops and takeaways. The place could have been really nice with a few extras, like blinds/curtains, coffee table and a clean kettle.
