Explore the very best of North Yorkshire from this charming cottage with foodie hotspots, wide open countryside and historic sites all within close proximity. At the end of the day, head home to the peaceful countryside location to kick back and relax with your canine companion at your side.

This characterful cottage is all on one level, opening into the entrance area where there is space to put down your bags and boots and hang your coat. The open-plan living room/kitchen/diner has a real homely feel, with a comfortable sofa and armchair facing the Smart TV for film nights. Around the corner is the neutral kitchen area with a beautiful view out of the window and smart storage utilising the space. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served up on the dining table which seats four and offers the chance to share stories over a meal and make plans for the days ahead. At bedtime, take your pick from one of the two bedrooms, the first being a stylish king boasting an en-suite bathroom with a revitalising power shower. The second room is a twin which is great for kids, and the final room in the property is the family bathroom featuring a shower over the bath. Outside, there is a pretty dining area surrounded by raised beds and plenty of space for dogs to stretch their legs.

The farmland location of this cottage means that there are walks for you and your four-legged friend right on the doorstep. Head to the village of Crayke to pick up groceries and stop off for a bite to eat at the local pub. Malton is a great option for foodies, known as the ‘food capital’ of Yorkshire with markets and events running throughout the year and a number of fantastic eateries for special occasions. York (16 miles) is also a must-visit whilst staying in the area to explore its historic Viking past; wander within the city walls and spot sites such as York Minster and Clifford’s Tower before stopping off for a bite to eat at a dog-friendly pub, cafe or restaurant.

Beautiful cottage on the outskirts of hilly Crayke. A great location. The cottage was really clean and tidy with everything we needed. We will come back again soon, hopefully.

Blossom Cottage was lovely and clean, the beds were very comfortable, the showers were super and we had everything we needed. Plus the provision of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was very welcome. Lovely peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely, relaxing weekend at Blossom Cottage. Really cosy cottage, well equipped and in a lovely quiet place. The weather let us down but it meant we spent more time at this lovely place. Would definitely come back.

Good Morning We are vacating our property this morning. We have enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place. I would like a message passed D on to the owner of property. I guess from the letter head left that a cleaning company.ny come in between guests. I would like the owner to be notified that the property was not cleaned properly by the company. The flooRead morers were dirty and hair in the shower bt previous people . This does not reflect our stay we loved it but think owner needs to do do spot check. Thank Hide

Great communication from hosts who were on hand if needed. Lovely quiet location with walks for dogs and footpath to the pub. Excellent food there and very friendly village. Cottage was very clean and comfy and good access to surrounding places including York. Will definitely go again.

This lovely clean and well equipped cottage is situated in a quiet, peacefull location, with three sheep, Cookie, Curly and Clover to keep you company. Plenty of places to visit and dine out. Recommend The Durham Ox in Crayke. Order before 6.45 and there is a special deal on two or three course meals.Suggest taking the bus from Easingwold to York. A pretty cottage in a lovely area. Clean and comfortable with tea, coffee and snacks available on arrival. Gastro pub close by & lots of footpaths to walk. The owner, Lucy is very friendly too.

This is a comfortable, spotless and very attractive cottage in a beautiful rural setting with an excellent pub serving food a few minutes away in the heart of the village. Really nice modern cottage with all great amenities. Great location for exploring the NE and Yorkshire and the local setting and scenery are stunning. Nearby Crayke and Easingwold are nice locales to explore within 10 minutes drive for the latter and 15 minute walk for the former.

Blossom Cottage is modern, clean and in a great location for visiting York, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Robin Hood Bay, Helmsley and Scarborough. It has two bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite. I would say it would be a little too cosy for two couples unless you knew them well but ideal for a family of four or a couple. Cannot fault this cottage -Read more really lovely. Hide

Cottage was to a high standard right through and extremely clean. 2 x great bathrooms, one with extra large bath and the other with a large shower head. Cozy King size bed in main bedroom. Great quiet location. Around 2 miles to Easingwold and about 20 mins by car to the park and ride to York. A big thank you to the Swans who although they live on Read moresite give you your own privacy and go above and beyond with the extra little touches that you find in the cottage on your arrival. Blossom cottage did not disappoint was spotlessly clean extremely well situated we have hired various cottages/bungalows over the last 10 years and I can honestly say this is one of the best if not the best it is a credit to the owners and will be returning
