Take a walk to the nearby mill stream and the pretty River Isle – perfect for a trot in the sunshine or maybe a picnic. Further afield, East Lambrook gardens (6 miles) welcome four-legged friends, as does the Willows and Wetlands Centre (7 miles). For more lovely walks, head towards the village of Staple Fitzpaine (11 miles) and the Blackdown Hills AONB before relaxing over a leisurely lunch in one of the many dog-friendly pubs in the local villages.
