The lodge is nice and the view of nature in the garden was good, however you can't get away from the fact it's located next to a busy road all times day and night.

Excellent location for exploring North Yorkshire had everything we needed for our family holiday, the kids loved looking round the woods to find all the hidden items on the sheet that had been left for them. The dog loved exploring the enclosed garden.

Had a wonderful stay at honeysuckle retreat Lodge. Loved the woodland walk & the huge field to exercise our cocker spaniel Bertie. The wildlife was amazing to watch, we saw a woodpecker, bluetits, finches & the occasional pheasant. The owners Lesley & william were lovely too. Will definitely be returning in the spring/summer time.

The lodge is ideally situated and if you have kids and/or pets it is really safe and very private. The little woodland which can be viewed from the decking area hosts a load of wildlife and the feeders in the pebbled garden are constantly in use by the birds (and the squirrels). Had a wonderful week at Honeysuckle Retreat . Great lodge, spacious with everything you need. We were there end of October so we knew the weather would be a lot cooler but in the summer with decent weather the outside seating would be perfect.

Me and my sister stayed here with my two little dogs and they loved playing in the enclosed garden and walking in the wood which was very magical. The location was perfect and the accomodation was fantastic. Every thing was clean and very comfortable. It is close to all tourist attractions. We visited Eden Camp,Flamingo land, Pickering castle,MaltoRead moren and the very dog friendly Monday Market in Pickering. We had a lovely stay. We enjoyed watching the birds feeding. Well equipped, clean and spacious holiday let with a lovely woodland walk for children to enjoy. However, sited only 50 metres from the very busy A169 main road meant constant traffic noise, as opposed to a tranquil countryside setting.
