If you are looking for peace and quiet, in a well equipped comfortable cottage then this is the place to stay. The owner, Anna was very welcoming, and even provided a welcome tray of tea, coffee and milk on our arrival. A gift of a little rose bush was a very thoughtful touch. We also loved the cottage garden, and were delighted to see a hare anRead mored a woodpecker during our stay. We had lots of enjoyable days out. Including trips to Glastonbury, Wells, Dunster Castle, Kilve, Mells Walled Garden, and further afield to Lyme Regis. We will definitely return. Hide

After initial teething problems with the heating, the thoughtful owner rectified the situation swiftly, which on a Sunday is not easy! Rural setting with the sound of birds very distinct. Clean & comfortable. Recommend The Swan, Wedmore, which is dog friendly. Only comment would be that garden area is NOT fully dog proof if your pup is a wanderer Read moreAlso visit Wells, lovely Hide

We found Cribbs Barn to be a beautifully high-spec and generously equipped cottage. The location is good with both the village of Wedmore and Cheddar in easy reach. We visited in winter but the outdoor space is private and very well maintained for summer evenings spent outside It felt secure and nicely tucked away. A lovely place to stay.

Cottage excellent in every respect and so nice to find one with everything on the ground floor. It was beautifully furnished with the best quality crockery, kitchenware, etc unlike some holiday cottages where clearly the owner has put all the "cast off" crockery, etc from their own home in the holiday cottage
