Situated just a 15 minute walk from the colourful seaside town of Southwold, this cosy cottage with its private garden is proof that big things come in small packages. Sleeping four, this beach-style property sits at the vantage point of Reydon, a popular spot for dogs doing their best exploring.

Gather the family and the pup and head for a holiday of R&R at this home-from-home cottage. Step inside and prepare to unwind in the living room, which has a deliciously cosy atmosphere. Curl up with a good book on the welcoming sofas, or hunker down and catch up with your favourite boxset. When it’s time for tea, head to the well-equipped kitchen. Although small, this dual-aspect fun-size space offers everything you need to rustle up family feasts but don’t forget to keep an eye out for wandering paws. Gather your party in the adjoining dining room to catch up on the day’s events or even light the wood burner-effect electric fire and toast to this special getaway. Steep cottage-style stairs usher you to lay your head in one of the inviting bedrooms; one double with a connected en-suite bathroom and one twin room. For those balmy summer nights, entertain the four-legged friends and kids alike with a hearty supper in the garden, followed by ball games and relaxation on the ample outdoor furniture.

Your canine companion will adore sniffing out new and exciting walking routes in the surrounding countryside. Follow the rows and rows of pastel-coloured properties to Southwold’s seafront, where fish and chips can be inhaled by humans and dogs alike. As we got the cottage at a reduced rate we found it was value for money ,but wouldn't pay anymore for that standard of cottage

Its a super cottage , very welcoming and packed with really nice touches - not a standard holiday cottage - more a guest in a home experience . Loved it

A lovely little cottage and would thoroughly recommend, although the steep stairs are not suitable for everyone.

Lovely little cottage, we were there between Christmas and New Year and it's a perfect location for walks to the beach and getting some fresh air.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location. We did worry about the stairs as they are so steep. Very nice relaxing garden, we enjoyed many cups of tea out there in the sunshine. All in all a very nice break.

The staircase was I think mentioned, but I'm backing it up: very very steep. It's not a 'fault', just a feature of Victorian terraced properties but it's significant. The cottage is as described. The back ensuite bedroom is lovely. You might have to duck a bit if you're over 5'6" in the shower :)) Can't be helped: ceiling height. Good there is a shRead moreower. Loved the artwork in the house: a generous aspect. Hide

A home away from home with an owner who has thought what would be needed to enjoy your stay. An extensive array of books, games, toys, dvds and walk literature to satisfy everyone. Beautiful artwork. Very comfortable beds. Used the garden to eat out in and listen to the birds.

Charming cottage which felt like a home away from home. Location was perfect as the main high st in Southwold with shops and restaurants was only a 3 min drive away. The kitchen overlooked a lovely garden area and parking was easy (we just parked across the road). Kitchen had everything you could need and bathroom was nice. Lounge had comfy sofa wiRead moreth blankets and a smart tv which was good for a cosy night in. Loved our time at the cottage and would definitely stay again. Hide

Clean and comfortable cottage, very well equipped, in a good location being only 15/20 minutes walk from center of Southwold. Pleasant back garden, and ability to park in road opposite a bonus. Provides an ideal base from which to visit Southwold, would definitely stay again.
