Perfect for a quick getaway when you need a re-charge. Tranquility in spades! Beautiful setting and just a quick drive into Ludlow. Everything you need in a small space which was tastefully done. We had never stayed in a shepherds hut or anything like it before and we loved it. It gave us all the elements of camping without any of the discomforts. The location was in a rural idyll and in beautiful Shropshire which we love but had always stayed in a hotel before. We were amazed how everything could be fitted into such a small space without aRead morenything lacking. Our dog particularly enjoyed watching the sheep and donkeys behind the fence which really added to the rural feel of the location Hide

The Shepherd Hut was super cozy while hiding from a storm outside. It had everything we needed for a relaxing trip including treats for us and the dog. It is an easy walk into Ludlow so you don't have to go everywhere in the car.

This was my second visit, this time on my own. The view from the location was superb. Everything growing was very green, so plenty of rain. In fact, it rained for most of the next two days !! After the four hours of driving, I thought I would just have a quick nap and ended up for the next four hours flat out, before starting on the 'goodies' thougRead morehtfully provided. My only concern whilst at the hut was an example of a draught from the windows. I still have to master the wood burner next ! Hide

We spent 6 days and had a lovely relaxing break. Comfortable bed, clean and well situated. Bonus of being less than 10 minute drive to Ludlow, Clee Hill and Mortimer forest, ideal for dog walks. Plenty of supermarkets around to allow for self catering, and pubs and restaurants for eating out. Spectacular views, peaceful with sheep and donkeys on thRead moree field next to the hut. Garden enclosed but I suspect smaller dogs might be able to get through the fences. Would stay again. Hide

This place is a gem, having everything you could need in such a beautiful setting, on a working farm. Close to many places of interest and some lovely walks. Dog-friendly. Fridge is not large if, like me, you are bringing most of your food with you. I did not need tge washing up liquid or foil that I brought with me. I did need the extra rubbish baRead moregs (small) that I brought. Lovely complimentary treats and toiletries provided. Would definitely book again. Hide
