  • Relax in the fully enclosed garden with your four legged pal breathing in the breath-taking scenery
  • Beautiful single-storey barn conversion tucked away in a peaceful location
  • Perfect location for walkers and cyclists with easy access to a host of popular attractions including Longleat, Stonehenge and Avebury
Property code: OC-58771

Surrounded by peaceful Wiltshire countryside, this beautiful barn conversion offers the perfect getaway for couples who want to share the holiday love with their four-legged best friend. Located in the grounds of the owner’s equestrian smallholding, this rural retreat is ideal for walkers who enjoy sniffing out new trails. If you’re looking for a tranquil place to relax and recharge your batteries, this is it.

Leave the bustle of modern life at the door as you enter the cottage to find a warm and inviting home. High ceilings and exposed beams give the lounge a traditional feel, and the comfortable sofa offers a cosy spot to snuggle while your hound dozes in front of the wood burner-effect gas fire. If you’re in the mood to cook, then you’ll find everything you need in the cottage kitchen to rustle up a romantic meal for two (or three!). As you enjoy your meal in the dining area, open up the French doors to let the peaceful countryside atmosphere in. When it’s time to rest your weary heads, you’ll be happy to retreat to the cosy bedroom for a good night’s sleep. If you’re in the mood for a little al fresco dining, fire up the BBQ and take a seat in the small, enclosed gravelled area, while your pup explores.

Take a wander around the popular market town of Devizes (7 miles) with its many pubs, cafes and shops. The pretty town of Bradford-on-Avon (8.5 miles) sits on the edge of the famous Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty packed with walks and places to explore. A little further afield (21 miles) is the historic spa city of Bath. While there, head to nearby Prior Park, an 18th-century landscape garden which welcomes explorers on foot and a lead.

  • 1 bedroom – king-size
  • 1 shower room with WC
  • Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer
  • Sky TV with basic package and DVD in lounge

Yet again, another wonderful stay at Curlew Lodge, the perfect base we think for exploring Wiltshire, made so much easier by the warm welcome and hospitality of owners Helen and Mark.
