When bedtime beckons choose between two double bedrooms on the ground floor or three double rooms on the first floor. Your hounds will love the countryside walks from the doorstep but for a change of terrain head to Shapwick Heath Nature Reserve (0.5 miles). Although your pup is not permitted in the main part of the reserve they can sniff out new scents in the surrounding marshland. For quirky shops, dog-friendly restaurants, and abbey ruins the town of Glastonbury is 3 miles away, or for a walk on the beach head to Burnham-on-Sea (15 miles).
