For a bit of culture, take a trip to the famously English town of Shaftesbury (famous for being the setting of the Hovis advert), 10 miles away. And the National Trust property of Stourhead (just 6 miles away) with gorgeous neo-classical gardens even has special doggy routes and opening hours for exploring pups.
