Gorgeous cottage that was warm and ready when we arrived. Perfect location for exploring the area both locally and further afield. Loved having the fire in the colder evenings and spent hours watching the rabbits in the fields. We even spotted the owls in the barn across the road. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Our Second stay at Bewick, a perfect place to explore Northumberland and such a lovely cottage. We came back, we didnt see the point in looking for any other place to stay while visiting relatives nearby, as this is perfect.

Lovely to be able to walk into Rothbury across golf course, where we found several independent shops & cafes. Stargazing on clear nights was an added bonus.

Comfortable and homely, and well furnished. Couple of glitches - temperamental front door lock, very dim lighting in the upstairs bathroom. Also, the downstairs bathroom could do with a screen/shower curtain for the shower.
