Enjoy laid-back days exploring Cornwall’s coast and countryside with your best friends at your side. This inviting cottage sleeping four offers a relaxed base for outdoor adventures, plus access to shared grounds and an enclosed garden for canine play.
Follow your hounds into the charming property, which offers a comfortable and practical layout for an enjoyable stay. Hounds can snooze by the coal-effect gas fire in the cosy lounge, which has reclining sofas and a Smart TV – perfect for unwinding after a day of throwing sticks in the fresh air. The kitchen offers plenty of floor space for food and water bowls, with a microwave to help with preparing human meals. The light-filled conservatory dining room is a wonderful space in which to eat, and opens directly to the garden. A WC completes the ground floor. At bedtime, settle your pups in their beds and head upstairs, where you’ll find a king-size bedroom with ample storage that looks out onto the garden, plus a restful twin, sharing a family shower room. A spacious patio with dining furniture and a BBQ leads to a large lawn where furry friends can run and play; there are also extensive, shared grounds with a lake (please supervise pets and children). Private parking is available for two cars.
It’s just 3 miles to reach fabulous Perranporth Beach, an impressive stretch of golden sand that welcomes dogs all year round (on leads in July and August between 10am and 5pm on the main beach). Within 7.5 miles you can also reach the surfers’ favourite, Fistral Beach, also a haven for dog walkers, and Crantock Beach, which has a large, grassy area where dogs can play. Well-behaved mutts on leads are welcome at Lappa Valley (5 miles), which has woodland walks as well as nostalgic train rides.
