Hike out from here to Colliford or Siblyback Lake, both within 2 miles of the abode. Return home to go for an evening stroll through the grounds of the farm. The owners also live here but the welcoming, single-storey annexe benefits from total privacy. Watch the sun go down over a glass of something chilled with Fido at your feet.
Call your furry friend in through your private front door and wander into the kitchen/diner to give him a refreshing bowl of water and perhaps something to eat. Prepare a candlelit dinner for two in here as well and then lay the table for a cosy night in. After dinner, wander on through into the inviting lounge to unwind in front of your favourite programme on the Smart TV while Fido stretches out on the carpet. As night falls, make your way to the double bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room and glass doors that pull the views right in. On warm mornings, open these up to let the fresh air in and call your pup to join you for a walk before breakfast. Sit out here in the evening too. Find parking for one car at the annexe.
Strike out 1.5 miles from your base to see the scenic Golitha Falls, a spectacular series of cascades and waterfalls along the River Fowey. Head 13 miles down to Talland Bay on Cornwall’s south coast; this is one of the few beaches nearby where your furry friend can paddle and swim all year round.
