At a glance

  • Beautifully renovated barn conversion, tucked away down a peaceful lane and yet minutes from some of the best beaches, coast paths and attractions that Cornwall has to offer.
  • The most perfect base from where to explore the tin mines of St Agnes, the end of England at Lands End, the famous Eden Project or the numerous art galleries of St Ives.
  • With a woodland walk from your door this property is perfectly positioned to explore both coast and countryside by foot as well.
Property code: OC-TC82928

A wonderful home for four pups and ten owners, this gorgeous barn is perfectly located for seaside walks. After salty beach adventures, rinse sandy fur in the handy dog bath before enjoying al fresco meals in the enclosed garden or getting cosy by the wood burner. The St Agnes Heritage Coast is just 2 miles away so you can enjoy all this beautiful slice of Cornwall has to offer without straying far.

Head up steps or the slope and through the stable door to make your way inside this gorgeous, converted barn. Retaining handfuls of character and charm, the contemporary interior beautifully complements the exposed beams and rustic features which flow throughout. Spend time in the kitchen/diner where treats can be rustled up and you can play songs on the Sonos sound system as you chop. If your pup isn’t chasing their tail around you, you will probably find them curled up in the lounge, taking prime position in front of the wood burner. Join them and stay cosy or throw open the bi-fold doors from the games room and let the fresh air inside. Summer calls for BBQ feasts in the enclosed garden with its pretty courtyard and handy dog/wetsuit bath. Head to bed in the first-floor wing of the house and if you’re sleeping in the master room, enjoy a coffee by the Juliet balcony. There is off-road parking for four cars.

Treat your pup to the best of both worlds with a woodland walk to the beach. Stick chase on the way and get sandy at your destination in Porthtowan (2 miles) where you can swim in the sea or help little ones build sandcastles if you fancy staying dry. The dog-friendly beach at Trevaunance Cove (2.5 miles) is perfect for visiting during summer and you can take a walk and explore the South West Coast Path.

Wonderful house, immaculately clean and kept, everything you could want. The photos don't do it justice as each room is perfect. Spacious and in a fantastic location to get amazing beaches... Porthtowan nearby is beautiful for sunsets. As a family of 5 we've stayed in a lot of holiday homes in Cornwall over the years and this was the best. We stayeRead mored with another small family and never felt on top of each other. Hide

This house is beautiful, the pictures dont do it justice. Good location within easy reach of main road to nearby towns by car. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival, which we all loved, and more than enough of everything for the whole group i.e. crockery, glasses etc.

First class house and facilities - beautiful furnishings and comfort. Kitchen well provided for and plenty of space for all. Fully enclosed garden very well maintained and good facilities, with good privacy and solitude but close to lovely towns such as St Agnes. Great hosting by Amena, and really appreciated the mid stay change over of linen etc. Read moreonly suggestion might be slightly wider range of crockery and pans in the kitchen; its a house for good cooking and eating! Thanks for great holiday! Hide
