An inviting seaside property set in the sleepy village of Porthtowan on the beautiful North Cornish coastline, this homely hideaway is perfect for all the family – two legs or four. For an unbeatable ball-throwing backdrop, head to the sweeping golden sands of Perranporth Beach where tufty-pawed visitors are welcome year-round with no restrictions. After a day by the sea, stretch soggy paws in the sun-dappled garden while the humans recline with a sparkling aperitif.

This inviting coastal abode features a bright interior with clean lines and spacious social areas. Kick off shoes and hang up leads in the entrance hall then pad through to the light-dappled lounge with bright soft furnishings. Throw open the French doors and bask in the salty summer breeze or cosy up in the chillier months with the electric open fire. Scoop up your pup for some fluffy cuddles while you watch a film on the Smart TV or curl up the armchair with a book. Cook up a storm and pour some tipples in the compact shaker-style kitchen then settle in for a celebratory feast at the wooden dining table. There is also a utility space and wet room for rinsing off sandy outdoor gear. Ascend the staircase to the bedroom on the first floor and choose from a king-size and a twin with sea views as well as a comfortable single. The family bathroom is also located on this floor. Four-legged family members and little ones can run free in the enclosed lawned garden while the adults sip their morning coffee.

During the down season (early October to mid-May) fun-loving pups can feel the wind in their fur as they bound along the breathtaking shores of Porthtowan Beach, 700 metres. While away the hours with a leisurely waterfront lunch at Porthtowan Beach Cafe, 600 metres, where well-behaved owners and their dogs are warmly welcomed then work off lunch with an amble along the rugged South West Coast Path to the tranquil fishing village of Portreath, within 5 miles.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Everything you'd expect you would need for a week away. My friend and I enjoyed our week and loved the local beach! We also made the most of activities and attractions around Cornwall including Lappa valley, the Eden project, seal sanctuary and Trebah gardens all of which we would recommend. This was definitely aRead more comfortable place to rest whilst we weren't out on adventures. Hide

This is a fantastic property, so well equipped. Games books etc for wet weather, plenty of space etc. Location worked well for us as we were driving around the area to different places. I don't think anyone could be disappointed with this property. We were 2 adults and 2 children (12,9)

Great house with wonderful views. Comfortable, very well equipped and maintained. Easy walk down the path to the village - steepish walk back, but worth it. Easy access to the coastal path, for walking to the lovely Chapel Porth beach and Wheal Coates. Good secure garden for the dogs.

The house was lovely and the hosts were amazing. We had an issue with the TV and they came out within an hour to sort it out. There was a lovely walk at the end of the street that was dog friendly and a short drive took us to the beach were the cafe and the unicorn restaurant were gorgeous. I really recommend this house.

The house has a homely feel. The flowers, milk, biscuits and tea/coffee etc were very welcome. There were a number of games which would be great for children on wet days. Beds were very comfortable.

This place is so lovely, I took 3 teenagers and a large dog on holiday with me and we didn't feel cramped at all. Great location for the beach and walks, the house is fully equipped so didnt want for anything. You need to go further afield if you want to find places to eat as there is only 3 places in Porthtowan and they are super busy.
