Boasting a prime location on the water’s edge, this six-bedroom waterfront property offers a fantastic escape for dog-owning groups. The house has been thoughtfully decorated and has a private patio garden with magnificent views across the estuary to Fowey.

Inside, comfortable lounge seating surrounds the crackling fireplace, where you’re sure to find your furry friend snoozing on a chilly evening. The dining room, with exposed beams overhead, offers unobstructed sea views. A large dining table, complete with a ship’s compass in the centre, provides ample space for everyone, and the open fire sets the stage for sociable dinner gatherings. In the contemporary kitchen, you’ll find a breakfast bar and a utility area adjacent. There’s also a study offering estuary views, and completing the ground floor is a shower room. On the first floor, you’ll discover three bedrooms: one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room; one twin room; and one bunk room with an en-suite shower room. On the second floor, three more bedrooms await. The master bedroom boasts a four-poster king-size bed and connects to a bunk room. Another bunk room comes with an en-suite bathroom, and there’s also a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Finally, a spacious family bathroom completes the home. To the front of the house, an enclosed paved terrace beckons with patio furniture, a charcoal BBQ, and unspoiled sea views—a perfect spot to unwind while Rover explores his new surroundings.

Polruan exudes a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with various local shops, ice cream parlours, and dog-friendly eateries. Step outside to the quayside and embark on a journey with Fido aboard the passenger ferry to the vibrant town of Fowey. Alternatively, take a scenic coastal walk to get tails wagging along the beautiful coastal path to Lantic Bay (1.5 miles) and continue to Bodinnick (3 miles), where you can catch the ferry back to Fowey and Polruan. Lovely location, good size and easily accommodated our family of 8 (all adults), great getting the little ferry across to Fowey for dinner etc, but do watch out that the limit in the evening is only 12 people! Overall lovely holiday.

This property has an unbeatable location on the quay at Polruan. All rooms have a sea view. It is well equipped and comfortable. Guests need to be mindful of the steep narrow streets and the parking arrangements. It was super to be able to hop on the passenger ferry to Fowey. We thoroughly enjoyed the walks from the property and not needing to use Read morethe cars. Hide

What an amazing location. It felt like we had our own personal beach. The kids could run straight out to the beach and we could see them clearly from the front patio. There was a bit of noise from the pub late in the evenings, but nothing that kept any of us awake. The house was beautiful, well equipped and worked well for our group of 9 people. ThRead moree hill to the car park is definitely steep, but it didn't stop us from making trips out. Hide
