This traditional Cornish cottage is set a short 1.5-mile walk away from some of Padstow’s finest eateries, many of which welcome waggy-tailed visitors with open arms and a tasty treat! Sleeping six guests and a canine companion across three comfortable bedrooms, it’s a fantastic base for sniffing out exciting adventures along the majestic coastline. Return to let sleeping dogs lie by the wood burner as you relax with a warming tipple.

The interior is a mesmerising combination of exposed stone and beautiful wood, featuring beamed ceilings, timber flooring and bespoke furniture throughout. The open-plan living space is wonderfully warm and comforting, consisting of an irresistible lounge area with a wood burner, a family-sized dining table, and an adjoining country-cottage style kitchen. Two of the snug bedrooms are also downstairs, along with a handy bathroom with a shower over bath which comes in useful for cleaning sandy hounds. The remaining bedroom is a charming twin room in the attic, accessed via a winding pine staircase and boasting spectacular estuary views. Outside, a delightful patio area provides a scenic spot for drinks overlooking an ornate pond, and a safely enclosed garden is ideal for four-legged guests.

The streets of Padstow are lined with quirky shops, pretty eateries and interesting art galleries, made all the more special by the spectacular views and enchanting harbour dotted with boats. You could even take a boat trip to admire the resident wildlife, which includes dolphins, seals and even basking sharks at various times of the year. Venturing further afield, your sea dog will adore scampering through the waves of dog-friendly beaches such as Harbour Cove and Tregirls beach 2 miles away, or sniffing for rabbits amongst the sand dunes of Harlyn Bay 3 miles away.

We were there Christmas week. When we arrived the cottage was very very cold and everything had been turned off, including the hot water. Once we had got everything up and running, we needed a trip to Wadebridge for Christmas decorations, as none were provided, (which if we had known before hand we would have brought something from home.) I also haRead mored to purchase a hairdryer as there isnt one provided ladies, BYO! Once we had settled in though, we did enjoy our stay and it is in a good location. Hide

Lovely cosy cottage in quiet location but still convenient for trips to Padstow and the stunning beaches of the North Cornwall coast. Tastefully furnished and kitchen well equipped. We didn't have the weather to enjoy the outside space but I can imagine it would have been lovely to sit outside in the evening.

Well equipped cottage in lovey location. Unfortunately we had two pointer dogs and the safe garden was definitely not dog proof. Walls were very low. Dishwasher and washing machine were nice touches.

A lovely cottage in a peaceful setting we had a wonderful stay with our three children. The owner was very responsive and promptly resolved the issue when we initially had no hot water. Great service and a relaxing atmosphere!

Nice cottage - very clean and well equipped. Was smaller than we expected but was OK for two adults. Shame the garden was overgrown with weeds and a portion of the path to the rear of the property covered in thick brown/green slime.
