The cottage was excellent with a superb location. Effectively right on the beach and within easy walk to Newquay. We have already booked again for September.

The property is in an ideal position for Porth beach, less than a minutes walk, and close to The Mermaid Inn that provides great pub food, and Rattler on tap! There is a great pizza restaurant called Ansum, which is opposite. The property allows great access to the coastal path which you can walk into Newquay easily. We had such a fantastic week. Gone to the beach has been the perfect location for us to explore Cornwall. We cant believe how close we were to the beach (I guess the clue is in the name), but stepping outside and walking the dogs at fabulous Porth beach every morning has been a real treat. We will most certainly be back and recommending to our frieRead morends. Hide

Loved staying at Gone to the Beach. The location of this was amazing. Having a toddler and not having to go down any steps to get to the beach was incredible. You wont stay at a better location for getting onto a beach. The property itself was clean and had everything that we needed for 2 weeks. Its a great location and would be a great place if some time and attention was spent on it. Parking was a bit of an issue. We couldnt always access the allocated parking spot due to a van being parked in an inconvenient spot.

We see some of the reviews rate this property as nice and peaceful. This property was anything but nice and peaceful. The generator for the pub nearby was very noisy as was the main road outside. The property was not clean at all, it also had a very musty smell, a bit like 'wet dog', not nice at all. The grill was filthy, the draining board and plaRead morestic crockery tray on sink had mould in it, kettle was disgusting, some of the walls had dirty marks on as did many of the doors. Filthy!
