This detached bungalow has a light and airy feel and has been finished in a contemporary yet homely style. An enclosed garden gives both you and your beloved dogs an attractive outside space to enjoy, whilst just a 1-mile walk through Bude town centre will bring you to the town’s dog-friendly Summerleaze Beach.

If you are searching for a single storey property within easy reach of the beach and with enough outdoor space for dogs to run about, then this would be an excellent choice. In the lounge, comfy seating provides you with plenty of room to relax and unwind, whilst the adjacent kitchen/diner is a well-equipped room with space to comfortably seat four guests and room for your canine companions to stretch out on the floor. The bedrooms, a double and a twin, have both been finished in neutral colours to provide a restful atmosphere, ensuring you all get a good night’s sleep before the next day full of adventures.

Bude is one of North Cornwall’s most popular resort towns and has a good range of family-friendly things to see and do, including a leisure centre, mini golf course, and a fantastic tidal lido. There are several beaches in and around the town, the nearest of which sits within a mile of the property, whilst the town’s range of restaurants, pubs, and takeaways ensure that you have the chance to take a complete break from cooking whilst away. If you are looking for some particularly lovely walks with your dogs and want to go for something more than stroll, then make sure you take a day to explore the South West Coast Path which leads from the town. By heading north along this trail, you’ll reach the National Trust beach at Sandymouth (3 miles) and if you walk south, you’ll eventually arrive at Widemouth Bay (4 miles).

The property is very well equipped and spacious. It has good wi-fi, a television with a huge scope of programming, including streaming, and even an "Alexa" facility. The garden is well-kept and is absolutely safe for dogs, and there is a choice of two outside areas to seat and eat. The lighting inside and out is excellent and the lounge smallish buRead moret very comfortable. There is lots of literature available both about the facilities of the property and of the area for touristic purposes. Also the owners are readily contactable and willing to help quickly if anything needs thjeir personal attention or guidance. Hide

We have stayed here at least 4 times now, lovely and cosy, very clean, has everything you need. Walkable to town and to the beach ( a bit far if you are planning on spending the day at the beach to carry all your stuff), and a very dog safe garden.

Lovely bungalow within easy walking distance of the beach and town centre one way and swimming pool and supermarket the other. Property was very clean and modern with plenty of room for the whippet to sprint about in the fully enclosed garden. She loved it. Only used the parking area for unloading and loading as easier to leave the car in the road Read moreoutside than do a 12 point turn. Would definitely consider returning. Hide

Lovely accommodation, fabulous secure garden for the dog, parking ( no problem in our pickup, just a short reverse down to park up), and all the housey equipment you'd need. A great drying/hanging area set up in the garage. Great location - 10 min walk (ish) down to town and on to the canal. A few mins more on to Summerleaze Beach. Close to the busRead more stop, we hopped on the 95A to Black Rock Beach and had a beautiful walk back along the South West Coastal Path. Already looking to come back again! Hide

Lovely cottage in a great location, comfortable and very clean. We had a great stay. The only slight negative was the parking area was a little challenging to turn our car for easy exit. Otherwise the perfect base to explore Bude and the surrounding area.

We had a really welcoming, comfortable & relaxed stay here. Good sized practical, escape-proof garden for our terrier. Plenty of walks - short & long - to be had locally & well placed to access routes out of Bude for other destinations. Loved our stay here.

Cottage great, unfortunately the location was just not for us. Pictures online very deceptive and doesn't show the fact that you are right next to the main road into Bute and was incredibly noisy. Very disappointed. Also too much in the way in stones in the garden which was very small and included lots of hard areas.
