Cook up a storm in the modern kitchen with the bi-fold doors open to letting in the fresh sea breeze and doubling the space of the room. Play games with the kids and Fido around the patio, whilst keeping half an eye on dinner in the oven. Enjoy a BBQ or a picnic, complete with cream teas, in the expansive enclosed garden, whilst a content pooch sniffs around the grass. Remember you are in Cornwall, so jam first on the scone! At the end of the day, retreat to one of the four stylishly decorated bedrooms after settling squabbles over who gets the top bunk.
Walk the endless sands at low tide at dog-friendly Sandymouth beach (5 miles) and dig holes, chase sticks, swim in the clear waters, or just admire the rugged cliff backdrop with small waterfalls. Venture up the cliffs and walk the coast path with stunning views and rolling hills. Head to Summerleaze Beach (0.5 miles) for the day and watch the swimmers in the sheltered sea pool, before heading into town for a local pasty and ice cream.
