Has everything we needed, dogs enjoyed the garden and field.... It attracts rabbits and foxes so bring your dog shampoo! Gas stove was essential over new year, would have been very cold otherwise so pack a jumper and slippers as flagged floor. Lovely little cottage - possibly a converted small barn? Felt like we were sleeping in the hay loft. Had a delightful long weekend. Super secure field for exclusive use if you wish - which two of our dogs need. Smaller fully secure garden too. Cottage was warm and toasty. Kitchen well equipped. All North Cornwall easily accessible from this point.

The cottage is a great base to visit places like Padstow, Boscastle, Port Isaac and Tintagel .. St Nectans Glen is a real gem. The cottage is cozy and the field is a bonus for dogs to run around in. The enclosed garden is useful too.

The cottage is in a lovely location to explore north Cornwall. We had a nice welcome basket upon arrival. Nice hot shower and plenty of towels. The DogField was good although lots of rabbits so our terrier didnt get let off of his lead!! Unfortunately we didnt find the bed or sofa very comfortable. There was a musty smell in the kitchen and its cupRead moreboards and also in the bathroom. This is definitely a Summer destination and we wouldnt currently recommend staying in the colder weather. We and the dogs loved our one week stay here. Lovely cottage with everything we needed and more. Totally secure at the cottage for our 3 dogs and the dog field was the same. Our dogs loved this, as our youngest is very reactive towards other dogs that he doesn't know well. Everything was perfect for us, with local shops just a short drive away in CRead moreamelford.
