St Michael’s Mount is a marvellous sight across the water, but your four-pawed pal will need to remain on dry land due to the restrictions in place should you wish to visit. No matter; the dog-friendly shores of Longrock Beach (4.5 miles) and several sheltered bays and coves will give Rover a chance to really stretch his legs and have some fun. Penzance, 6.5 miles away, is a treasure trove of independent galleries, eateries and stunning scenery complete with several attractions to enjoy.
