Gather up the dogs, collar your other half and head straight to this charming property in Penhallow, a hamlet surrounded by stunning countryside just 1 mile from Perranporth. The one-storey property features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and a courtyard garden, and enjoys easy access to the St Agnes Heritage Coast. This would be the perfect bolthole for a couple in need of a well-earned holiday.

The deceptively large property is a former grain store. Its fresh and inviting interior has been arranged with a mixture of colourful, characterful and practical soft furnishings and fixtures. There's more than enough room for everyone in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a place to curl up, share treats and snooze with your four-pawed companions, especially after a long day or romantic meal for two. When bedtime calls, the arms of a light and airy double bedroom are ready to welcome you to a long and restful night's sleep, with the convenience of a large bathroom only a few paw pads away. There's enough room in the courtyard garden for morning coffees, a good book and al fresco suppers with dogs for company.

Dogs will love to help you explore Penhallow and are welcome to roam Perranporth Beach and many a pub and shop (1 mile) all year round. The South West Coast Path (1 mile) is a great way to discover the natural and historic sites dotted along the St Agnes Heritage Coast, while a day at The Eden Project (25 miles) is worth the journey alone.

The cottage was charming, clean and well equipped for a good holiday. We didn't have the best weather , so we're very glad for a comfortable base Our only problem we found was that we had to use the car to go anywhere . All the nearby roads have no paths . We couldn't find any nice and safe places to walk with our dog

We had a fantastic holiday at the Roundhouse. It has everything you could possibly need. Having an enclosed garden was great for the dogs and the hose pipe in the garden was really useful for cleaning the sand off their paws. The Roundhouse is a great base to travel around Cornwall visiting different places. 6 mins to Perranporth, 20 mins to NewquaRead morey, 30 mins to St Ives and Penzance. 15 mins to Holywell Bay. I would highly recommend staying here. We would definitely go back there. Hide

Great accommodation in a lovely spot to explore all Cornwall has to offer. Really well equipped with everything you could need. Spotless and comfy. Lovely little secure garden space which is great for dogs to sniff about and to relax in after a busy day. Communication with the owner was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Roundhouse. The patio was secure for the dog and the hose was great for rinsing wetsuits. The property was well appointed and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, lots of beaches within 10 to 20 mins drive and we really enjoyed exploring the Tin Coast.

A lovely place to stay and not far from the beach and restaurants. Mostly it is private and quite, which is what we wanted. We also used the private space for sunbathing and a few beers well into the evening. Perfect if you love listening to the birds cheeping away. Highly recommended and we will be staying again.
