This stunning barn conversion, situated just under 3 miles from the market town of Liskeard, is the perfect retreat for your entire family – including your furry friends! Sleeping six across three cosy and welcoming bedrooms, it won’t be long before you’re up and about exploring the 110 acres of grounds that are right on the doorstep. Take the pups for a stroll around the woodland and streams – all part of the estate – or enjoy a relaxing swim in the shared outdoor saltwater pool (open end of May to September). If you fancy getting out, treat the hounds to a long walk around stunning Golitha Falls (2 miles).  Tennis racquets and balls will be available for use on the tennis courts but guests are asked to bring their own where possible.

The property, which is one of four barn conversions, welcomes you into an open-plan kitchen/diner complete with beautiful exposed beams and superb views out to the garden from the dining table. Sink back into comfy sofas in the lounge in front of the fire, the dogs curled up by your feet. Upstairs, the bedrooms promote peace and tranquillity for a perfect night’s sleep; wake up among fresh decor and dark wooden beams and head down to the garden to sip your morning coffee on the patio. There’s also a BBQ in the garden, making it an ideal spot for dining al fresco.

Make use of the shared games room on rainy days, or if it’s dry try your hand at some tennis or boules on the courts. Venturing out, kids will love discovering the Carnglaze Caverns (6 miles), while the pup can enjoy the pretty woodland that surrounds them. Sniff out clues on the Looe Mystery Treasure Trail (13 miles), before stopping for lunch in one of the many dog-friendly pubs and cafes. Make sure you visit the Eden Project (17.5 miles) while you’re in the area – your four-legged friends are more than welcome to wander the grounds with you.

A lovely cottage , dont change anything

What a fantastic cottage. I've been to so many self catering cottages in my time and by far, this is the best, it ticks all the boxes. Beautifully furnished and nicely decorated, the best equipped kitchen with loads of crockery and utensils. The owners even went as far as , not only supplying coffee , but freshly ground coffee , enough for the weekRead more. They really have gone above and beyond. Didn't have to take any dishwasher tablets, fairy liquid, tea sugar, the list goes on. And there was a cream tea awaiting us on our arrival. The location was fantastic , very quiet but only 10 mins from liskeards, a pleasant walk,about a mile, to the nearest village. The swimming pool and tennis were excellent and the kids didn't even want to leave to go to the beach. And all in amazing grounds so well kept. . Really felt like we were staying on a national trust property. I cannot reccomend this highly enough. Its an absolute gem. We stayed at Deer Park Cottage which was ideal for us as its next to the pool. We can see and hear the kids at play and not worry about them too much. Everything in the cottage was of good quality and designed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location is great. Very private and relaxing. We loved our time at Treworgey and highly recommend it. Our cottage (Deer Park) was spacious, clean, well-equipped and the beds were *extremely* comfortable! We used the EV charging twice (20 flat rate) which worked perfectly. Debbie the owner was helpful and friendly.
