This Cornish, stone cottage is very special for a number of different reasons: Firstly, it is situated about a mile away from the Eden Project, making this unique attraction a place you could visit every single day of your holiday if you so wished. Secondly, it is tucked away down a narrow country lane, in the World Heritage Site of the Luxulyan Valley which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers a range of breathtaking waterside walks right from the doorstep. Thirdly, it’s a gorgeous, cosy bolthole that’s perfect for a couple looking for a romantic break, along with their pup.

This romantic stone cottage is cute and quirky. The walls and ceilings of the well-designed open-plan kitchen/living/dining area are painted in bright white hues, which really maximise the natural light pouring in through the dual aspect windows, making this relatively compact room feel spacious and airy. Red accessories and wooden floorboards add a warm homely feel, and the little round table perched in a prime position in front of the window provides a wonderful spot from which to enjoy an early morning coffee, watching the wildlife and planning your next ‘walkies’. A spiral staircase winds down to the charming double en-suite bedroom, a restful room where the loudest noise is likely to be the sound of morning birdsong.

In an ideal spot from which to enjoy all the best events, attractions and activities Cornwall has to offer, there’s no way you’ll be able to see everything during one visit here. After ticking the Eden Project off your itinerary, you’ll want to take the 11-mile trip to The Lost Gardens of Heligan where you can step back in time and enjoy Europe’s largest garden restoration where dogs are more than welcome to enjoy the adventure too.  Par Sands is within 3 miles, a lovely sandy beach surrounded by sand dunes with a small pond - recently named as one of the top 7 best dog friendly beaches by PDSA, it's ideal for playing and walking your dog and having a paddle in the sea.

A lovely quiet rural location, perfect for exploring the historic and beautiful Luxulyan Valley, south Cornwall coast and moors. We were grateful for the lack of phone signal at the property and it was wonderful to be able to wander around the Acorn estate - we'll be looking forward to a summer camping visit in the future. We really enjoyed our staRead morey and felt we had everything we needed for our comfort and enjoyment. Hide

ONE-bedroom lets are often the ones with the most character and this is no exception. When that is combined with functionality you're on to a winner. This will suit any couple on the lookout for some cosy charm and a level of comfort where the basics are in place. Probably not ideal if you need open views from your doorstep but if you're happy to bRead moree nestling in dense woodland - and this is the kind you don't see so much of in this country these days - you'll be fine. Lovely cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage was clean, bed very comfortable, great shower and a fantastic location. A lovely balcony and a private garden. Close to Eden project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charles town and the Treffry Viaduct is a short walk from the door.

Absolutely what we wanted to find. Idyllic location in the middle of Heritage woodland. So quiet even with campers nearby as the bedroom was downstairs. So close to the beach, the Eden Project which we loved exploring. Hadnt realised how little time it took to drive to the west coast. Amazing holiday, visiting Cornwall for the first time. A lovely little place with some nice walks along a fast flowing stream and an amazing viaduct. Very convenient for the Eden project and Charlestown bay. Would advise taking a small car though as the lane is very narrow and you may get a few scratches on the paint work or a quick lesson in reversing should you meet someone coming the other way.
