Inside, this inviting two-storey cottage blends traditional country style with modern comfort. Warm tones and thoughtful touches create a homely setting where you and your canine companion can settle in with ease. A generous boot room is particularly handy for storing muddy boots and drying off your furry friend after long walks. The entrance corridor leads to a characterful dining room with exposed wooden beams, an easy chair and plenty of natural light. The welcoming lounge has ample seating, a Smart TV and a wood burner that Rover will adore. The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare hearty dishes after a day outdoors. Upstairs, two attractive bedrooms await, both with exposed beams and TVs. One is a comfortable double with its own en-suite shower room, while the second is a flexible twin zip-and-link that can be arranged as a super-king-size on request, complete with an ornamental fireplace. A family bathroom rounds off the accommodation. Outside, the front patio with a table and chairs provides a pleasant spot for a morning coffee while your four-legged friend stretches their legs on the lawn. Free parking is available in the neighbouring car park, making it simple to head out for more adventures.

A day at Ullswater (20 miles) brings lakeside strolls and boat trips, while peaceful Bassenthwaite Lake (10 miles), watched over by Skiddaw, is a haven for dog walkers.
