Whisk family, friends and your four-pawed pooch away to this traditional cottage in Norfolk and explore the fantastic Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Spend time together in this sociable, cosy holiday home, surrounded by easy-to-reach amenities and the coast that’s less than 10 miles away.

Enter this stylish cottage and make a fresh cuppa while your happy hound finds their feet in the new surroundings. Feed the pup dinner while you and your party ignite your taste buds with a homemade, hearty feast to get the holiday started. Serve up at the four-person dining table, or enjoy a spot of al fresco dining when the weather’s being kind. On chillier nights, snuggle up with your canine companion in the living room, and bask in the glow of the wood burner while you all decide on what to watch on TV. Say goodnight to your hound, and climb the stairs to find a double bedroom and a twin, both with stacks of storage space for leads and doggie treats. You’ll find the family bathroom up here too, complete with a beautiful clawfoot bath. Take your four-pawed friend out for a stroll, then sit and breathe the fresh air in the enclosed garden and adjoining patio.

Get your boots on, grab the shopping bags and in less than 1 mile, you’ll have a splendid choice of independent shops including the award-winning Walsingham Farm Shop, which provides high-quality ingredients for creating mouthwatering meals. Pop into one of the pubs here for a pint, or meander through the village to admire medieval timber-framed architecture, which historians will adore. If you like sand as much as your canine chum, the Holkham Hall Nature Reserve and Beach is 7 miles from the property, or visit the pretty harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea where you can mooch with your pooch before stopping for an icy treat.

The cottage is a beautiful home, full of character, welcoming and in a beautiful village yet close enough to travel to the coast within 10-15 minutes. Lovely gift of biscuits and cool drink on arrival, ourselves and our grandchildren adored it .

A few simple changes would turn an acceptable visit into a very good one. These include: A few smaller wine glasses for the kitchen; doors sticking and cant be closed properly (particularly the Loo); upgrade lighting in a number of rooms: mattress in main bedroom quite hard and could do with a topper. Otherwise property in good condition and eRead morextremely clean. Hide

Had a fantastic long weekend at this property. The location was great and within a 10 minute drive to Wells, and an easy 20 minute walk to Little Walsingham to the welcoming pubs. The cottage itself was full of character and very well equipped, a pleasure to come back to after being out for the day.

The Cottage was in a perfect location for exploring the Norfolk Coast, particularly close to Holkham, Wells, Sheringham, Cromer etc. Farm Shop, Shops/Pubs/Food within a 20/25 minute walk. Quaint little village. Whilst the property was well positioned, it did feel a little tired and in need of some upgrades. Bathroom/Shower was well equipped though.Read more No Washing machine, pizza tray. Low ceilings throughout, which wasn't a problem after we put Post-it notes throughout the property to remind us. A lovely holiday cottage, however ceilings are quite low. Pubs and shops are not really walking distance.
