You will be able to bring up to two dogs with you who are bound to love the 55-acre village common lying to the rear of the property.

Your very own countryside idyll, this property is absolutely filled with character and is a lovely cosy place to enjoy a break as a couple. The whole property is set across a single floor and offers an open-plan living area consisting of a comfy lounge, small kitchen space, and a dining area with a table seating four. In the evenings, turn on the electric fire and settle down in front of a film on the TV/DVD with your dogs curled up at your feet before retiring to the double bedroom. Please be aware that there is no private outside space with the property, although there is an incredible 55-acre village common directly to the rear of the property.

This pretty part of the world is a great place to come to if you are looking to enjoy a laid-back holiday and the opportunity to slow down and experience a slower, more relaxed pace of life. Take a morning stroll to feed the ducks on the pond and allow your puppy pals stretch their legs after a good night’s sleep. Just a couple of hundred metres from the property you’ll find the local pub, a warm and welcoming place dating from the 17th century that offers a large beer garden and a locally-sourced menu. For a change of scene, pop into Norwich for a wander around the historic town or head a little further to explore the tranquil waterways of the Norfolk Broads (16 miles).

It was a comfortable, quiet place to stay. Everything there and Mrs Cliffe and her family were brilliant when the tv broke down, replacing it with a new one the very same day! Could do with some updating, but it served my purpose well

Ok as a base. Very small, not good if you have mobility concerns (large step up into shower) and bathroom is only a doors' width. Fridge and cupboard space low down. Cosy living and dining area. Good for access to Norwich and local areas, good bus route, 2 takeaways and 1 pub in walking distance. Opposite a Common, great for dog-walking bit cottageRead more dies not have a garden or enclosed area so you would have to always exercise a dog on lead. Small pond, church, social club and tea-bus all near. Hide

On arrival we found that the cottage was quite dusty in various places, the kitchen was very basic, it is shabby and is in need of refurbishment.

The cottage was a nice bolt hole but is in need of some modernisation. It is in an ideal place for holiday makers bringing their dog with them,as the common nearby would be great for dog walks. Mulbarton is very central and the local bus service to Norwich is very good. There are some lovely walks nearby too. Overall we enjoyed our stay for the priRead morece that we paid. Hide
