Enjoy a little family holiday in the small village of Weasenham in Norfolk. This lovely property is bound to set tails wagging with its charming garden and cosy feel. You’ll be ideally located for long walks and days out along the coast, a child by your side and a dog at your feet.

The downstairs of the cottage is almost entirely devoted to an open-plan living area, complete with kitchen, dining and lounge areas. It’s a great place to socialise with everyone, even if you’re dedicated to different activities. Upstairs, you’ll find the two bedrooms. There’s a single and a king-size, and you can request a travel cot if required. Everyone is sure to get a good night’s sleep in these comfortable spaces, so you’ll be ready for adventures the next day. The garden of this property stretches back onto a farm, so you may see sheep peering through the fence, safely separated from your dogs. At the end of the garden, you’ll find a dining area so everyone can graze together, or you could take a book, some art or whatever holiday activity you fancy pursuing.

There are lots of walks to try around Weasenham, so you don’t need to go far for a good time. If you do decide to try a day out, Norwich is 29 miles away, or you could go to the cheerful seaside town of Hunstanton (20.5 miles) for arcades and dog-friendly eateries. During the summer, Easter, Halloween and the festive period, look up The Pumpkin House/Brookhill Farm (12.5 miles) for child and dog-friendly adventures and seasonal events. Finish your getaway with a day at Norfolk Lavender (18 miles), a 100-acre lavender farm which welcomes canines; or get creative at Dandelion Mosaics (14 miles).

Beautiful cottage. Everyrhing was spotless. The welcome pack was a lovely treat. The large enclosed garden was dog friendly. Owners were lovely and on hand if we needed anything or needed advice on where to go. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped. There were walks near the house for the dog so she could be off the lead. Carolyn the owner who lived next door was very helpful answering all my questions about the surrounding area.

Immaculately clean cottage. It is clear the owner takes great pride in the home which is thoughtfully equipped and has a beautiful garden. The owner was incredibly helpful and communication was excellent. Thank you for the goodies on arrival, and for the fans in the bedrooms which were very much appreciated during the extremely hot weather! We had a lovely stay, relaxing and peaceful in a very homely well fitted out cottage. I loved that i could cook proper meals in the kitchen, unlike many holiday cottages where no one expects you to eat in, this kitchen had all the pans and dishes you needed to make proper food. All in all a very comfortable place to stay.

No 45 was spotlessly clean when I arrived and the hosts were very kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble of them. The garden is beautiful and quite lovely for sitting outside with a book and a cuppa on a sunny day. Wifi and parking are adequate. Weasenham is quiet which is lovely in itself. The cottage was perfect. It had everything we needed, plus a lovely long secure garden for my two dogs. The host was an amazing person who really made our stay a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this cottage. Whether your just visiting Norfolk. Or walking the Peddars Way and North Norfolk Coast.

What a wonderful cottage! Spotlessly clean and superbly equipped, we couldn't find fault with anything, inside or out.
