We really enjoyed our week at Wildfowl Cottage. It was clean, comfortable and had all we needed. Lots of interesting places to visit within an easy drive. Also close to excellent takeaways in Donington and Quadring. Margaret is a wonderful host. It was a joy to watch and feed the many birds she cares for and our dogs enjoyed running in the groundsRead more and playing with Margaret's dogs. We plan to return for another restful stay. Hide

Cleanliness was well below par, particularly the fridge, cooker, windows, tv, mirrors. Wi-fi did not work. Not an enclosed garden when the electric gates can be opened by anyone visiting the adjacent main house. No private patio. Views very limited from bedrooms only. Very busy road. You would need a car as no pavement access from cottage.
