Escape to Heacham in north-west Norfolk and bring a pair of canine companions along for the stay. This modern, three-bedroom cottage is built in traditional, local carrstone, and inside offers comfortable accommodation with a gentle seaside theme. Sleeping six guests, and featuring an enclosed garden where Fido and Fred can enjoy some fresh air, the inviting holiday home is approximately 1 mile from the golden beach, where you and your delighted dogs can splash in the sea and play on the sand all year round.

Take your furry friends around the back of the house to rub their sandy paws down in the garden before wandering in via the kitchen/diner. Top up water bowls, pop towels in the washer/dryer and decide what to serve up for dinner to hounds and humans. Enjoy jolly holiday meals around the table then spend your evenings relaxing in the lounge in front of the Smart TV, while Fido and Fred steal a nap. You have a ground-floor WC while the family bathroom is on the floor above. Two double bedrooms, one with Smart TV and an en-suite shower room, are also on the first floor, together with a twin room. Let your furry friends out into the garden in the morning, while you prepare breakfast, then carry it outside to enjoy it with them. There is one dedicated parking space with the cottage and ample additional space on the road, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Take the pups inland to Snettisham Woods, 3 miles away, to follow leafy trails through the trees. The Royal Sandringham Estate, 6 miles away, also welcomes four-legged visitors to explore its 240 acres of parkland grounds. Energetic pups and people might like to attempt the 6-mile coastal walk from Heacham to Hunstanton, with magnificent seascapes over the Wash.

A very comfortable holiday house with everything you could possibly need and in a very good position for all of the local shops and amenities. The enclosed rear garden was ideal for our spaniel and a real sun trap which we thoroughly enjoyed. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house and would highly recommend it. A very clean and comfortable cottage. Close to many lovely places/amenities and an easy drive to many more. The only very slight downside, a fairly busy road outside. Probably more noticeable to us, as we live at the end of a tiny cul-de-sac. Overall, highly recommended.

Very comfortable house with many thoughtful touches such as pictures and ornaments to make the house feel welcoming. Blinds at all the windows helped with sleep and road noise wasn't a problem despite the house being in a central location. Would be happy to stay again, which hasn't been the case for quite a few recent houses we have stayed in.

A very nice cottage in an excellent location. 2nd double bedroom rather small though. Tesco Express very close. Easy walk to the beach, and Hunstanton. Dogs welcome most places. The village has a good childrens playground. The West Norfolk is a nice place to eat, also the bakery in the High Street and Great Wall do a good takeaway. Being close to sRead moreeveral places of interest was super. Would recommend bike hire at Holkham Hall for all ages and the boat trip from Morston quay. Hide

A nice small holiday home, well equipped and clean. Sits right on main road through village so a bit noisy in bedroom with work traffic. Small secure garden and parking for 1 car. Ideal for small family, but space in 2nd bedroom a little tight for 4 adults, but bed very comfortable. 30 min slow stroll to the beach along roads. 3 village pubs. TescoRead more Shop 5 min walk. Lavender farm with lovely cafe 15 min walk(you need to cross very busy road). Hide

We had a very nice time at the Cottage and hope to return again soon. Only a 2 minute walk from Tesco express ,fish and chip shop and also a cycle hire shop. I walked to the beach most days which only took about 5 minutes but you can go by car as there is a pay and display car park. We also had Sunday lunch at the West Norfolk which was very nice.
