A quaint cottage with a lovely enclosed garden - good for dogs and children (supervised near the stream). A peaceful location, and the off-street parking was handy. Barry the owner was friendly. However, the cottage itself does need some serious TLC (updating the appliances and kitchen equipment, as well as some new carpeting/flooring). Shower roomRead more also needs an update. Better quality mattresses would be great. We were disappointed at shabbiness inside & dirty glassware/crockery. Hide

Jesters Barn is set behind the owners home with its own private garden. We stayed during the recent heat wave and were able to enjoy breakfast and dinner in the garden each day. There is also a very pretty stream to the side. The Barn was very comfortable and homely. Very quiet, which we loved. We would happily return. Owners lovely.

We had a very peaceful stay at Jester's Barn and particularly loved having the use of the garden, which is such a beautiful spot. Our terrier who is prone to finding escape routes was well contained. The barn is very characterful and the double bed comfy. Would recommend for a quiet retreat surrounded by nature.

The location of the cottage is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, bedding clean and the bottle of wine gratefully received, thank you. The cottage could be cleaner and some repairs made to a shelf which we have highlighted and hopefully will be quickly resolved.
