Lead the way to long runs on the beach and walks on the South Downs when you stay in this harbourside apartment. Close to shops, restaurants and bars, it’s a great getaway for couples or friends bringing a four-pawed friend.

Take the lift to the third floor and the front door to this lovely apartment. Inside, the lounge/diner is full of light, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides. Grab a book from the shelves, watch a DVD or listen to some music on the CD player. The compact kitchen has everything necessary for convenient cooking, including a microwave, and a washer/dryer. When you’re ready to turn in, say goodnight to your canine companion and head off to bed. The double bedroom boasts an en-suite shower room, while the twin room has use of a family bathroom. For relaxing in the fresh air, simply step onto the wraparound balcony, which is equipped with outdoor furniture and has views towards the sea. If you’re bringing a car, there are some visitor spaces in the complex, available on a first-come, first-served basis, as well as unrestricted roadside parking nearby.

Eastbourne’s Sovereign Harbour is northern Europe’s largest composite marina complex, with four linked harbours and a popular retail and restaurant development. Look out for the cafes with outside seating which welcome dogs. A wide, shingle beach stretches 2 miles to the town’s main beach (signs will tell you about seasonal restrictions and where leads are necessary). The South Downs National Park is on your doorstep, Beachy Head is 7 miles or, for something different, why not try the fun, free dog agility course in the lovely Hellingly Country Park (10 miles)?

This apartment is in a brilliant location it has a balcony with a sea view walking distance to the beach and shops and restaurants and if you enjoy walking a lovely long walk into Eastbourne. We had a perfect week and loved it so much well definitely book to stay again.

Beautiful location and view. Well equipped and nice added touches such as books, dvds and games. Dining table area in living room and not easy to use without moving furniture. Cosy and comfortable and easy access to shops and restaurants in Sovereign Harbour.

Great position for a holiday in Eastbourne. Overhaul it was clean but needs some updating.

Loved this apartment, the best thing was seeing the sea view every morning. Its very spacious, and although kitchen small has everything you need. Loved the balcony's. Apartment block nice and clean. There is a co op 5 minute drive to the right, and left a lovely walk 10-15 mins to the sovereign harbor. Small caf opposite the Indian restaurant by hRead morearbor did a lovely breakfast all-day. Plenty of nice places to eat. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would love to come back. Hide

Leak in kitchen - support from company looking after property FANTASTIC! My fault for not checking when booking but property this price class should have a dishwasher. Property has allocated parking (it's being sold with a parking spot) but guests not allowed to use - very strange! Very warm and cosy place, great views of sea (will be blocked soon Read morewith an apartment block being built). Don't invite many people to eat, no real dining area as such, just a camp table and chairs. Did enjoy our stay Hide
