Located in the village of Reedham, this property is ideal for families and two four-legged friends looking for a relaxing holiday in Norfolk. It is an ideal base to explore all the Norfolk coast offers. With plenty of beaches, there’s the chance to see incredible wildlife and views, including local seals at Horsey (19 miles). The village is a delight with plenty of eateries and walks along the rivers in both directions for you and your top dogs to explore the marshes.

This elegant two-storey cottage effortlessly combines the old and new. Enter the cosy and welcoming lounge with comfortable sofas and a beautiful inglenook fireplace with an energy-efficient wood burner. Curl up on chillier evenings to enjoy a film on the Smart TV while your pups snooze contentedly at your feet. A window seat looks out over the terrace to the river. A contemporary kitchen has everything you’ll need to whip up some tasty treats. Dine at the gorgeous kitchen island with four bar stools or the antique kitchen table. Bi-fold doors lead out to the rear garden. A cottage-style staircase leads upstairs from the lounge to a double bedroom with a Smart TV, a double bedroom with an additional single bed, and a shower room. Outside, a stepped, enclosed patio area with garden furniture is available. At the front is a second patio area with garden furniture and a fire pit. Relax, unwind, and enjoy the river view.

Learn about windmills at the Wind Energy Museum (12 miles), primarily an outside attraction, so your pups can enjoy the countryside. Great Yarmouth (12 miles) offers attractions for all ages, and on the southern beach (south of Wellington Pier), your dog can go mutts all year. Whitlingham Country Park (17 miles) is another great choice with a lake, picnic area and plenty of adventures for canines who love to leave no stick unfetched.

Fantastic cottage close to river. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Great cafes and pubs nearby. Only negative are the steep stairs. We would definitely stay again.

A stunning property in a gorgeous location. This house has been lovingly restored and presented for visitors like a home from home. It is clear that a lot of time and effort has gone into making this feel like a special place to stay. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. There was ample room. The local pubs, chip shop and two cafes made it very eRead moreasy for our weekend stay. Great to eat breakfast in the sun overlooking the river and to enjoy walks out across the fields. We fought over the window seat as the perfect location to read our books and watch the world go by. It was absolutely silent at night time but plenty to do in the local area. Cottage was in a perfect position next to the river. Very clean, very well equipped and very cosy and comfortable. Unfortunately all the local footpaths were too muddy to walk with 2 dogs but fortunately the wonderful sand dune walks at Winterton, Horsey, Hemsby and Great Yarmouth are a short drive away, the dogs loved it. A lovely cottage finished to a very high standardclean, modern and very comfortable. Everything was well presented and made for a relaxing stay. Dog owners should note the back garden isnt fully secure, though we managed to block the gap with chairs. Overall, a peaceful location and a quality property wed happily return to.

This is a lovely cottage. The location is perfect for a quiet, relaxed holiday - being able to sit and have breakfast and watch the river traffic is very soothing. The location of the village shops and pubs is very convenient. A beautiful cottage in a terrific location. There are two lovely pubs within easy walking distance. Both Clenells and the Old post office tea rooms are well worth a visit. The stairs to the first floor are mentioned in the cottage overview. We soon got used to them (we are both the wrong side of seventy) and didn't find them a particular problem.

The cottage and the weather were brilliant. The cottage had everything we needed. The stairs were a challenge but we mastered them in the end. A great time was had by us and our two dogs. We will happily go back again.

Great location with an amazing view. Good spaces front and rear for sitting in the sun. Parking for one large car to the front and additional free parking on the road.. very well equipped and well finished home. Stairs up to first floor are original and a bit tight but you get used to them. A beautiful renovated cottage with beautiful views from the bay window my cocker spaniel loved watching the trains going past and the birds on the river yare. Some lovely walks on along the river. Arrived at house, easy to navigate the key lock. House is beautiful and well kept/cleaned. There are so many kitchen utensils and cleaning gear, cloths and dishcloths. An iron, board, hairdryer. I don't remember seeing a list of what would be at the house so we did end up taking a lot of stuff with us which wasn't needed. The house was very well equipped (even a yoga mat which I used for my exercises) especially the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable with lots of spare blankets. I loved the Lego in the smaller room for our little boy. A perfect calm location by the river and local amenities.
